Exactly. Its not next to me to measure right now..its those 32Oz onces
Also could be nice to try and fit there a dedicated slot for a radio device
3,25" or 82mm. Quite generous size. Perfect for those Off Roadeo sized Yetis.

Any chance of getting STEP files so I can tweak the bolt size? Was thinking about using M3 with inserts (because I have them laying around).
I added the Step file of everything to the makerworld post if you want to grab it there. Should prevent me from having to DM everyone who wants it.

Look forward to seeing what you guys do with it.

I guess it let me zip it and put it here as well so whichever you all want to use go for it

Yeah I was going to post them but wouldn’t let me, I’ll DM you when I’m at the office with them
Ok, now that I printed out a sample the holes are fine. Will work as is with the M3. Will post a pic shortly.

I would recommend that you add a break-in or something so the support tabs (good idea!) are easier to get off. Maybe a V-notch at the seam?

Thought about it but my flush cuts worked fine for doing it and I already printed my set lol

Awesome job, need to order some fancy CF material now. I just have PLA CF on hand.

Some more mods. The existing holes were good enough for the inserts. I’m going to remove the countersinks. And I have ASA CF on order for the final version. With this as an inspiration maybe something can be done with rears?!?

I wondered if inserts would fit, the rears are plastic welded in place and the whole door panels has to come off, was more than i cared to do at the moment anyway.

Love this thread 🙌

I'm working on a 'low profile' snorkel option for my Everglades.
Printed in ASA on a Bambu Lab P1. Using 'fuzzy skin' for the exterior walls does a really good job imitating the surface finish on the OEM plastic trim.

What are your fuzzy skin settings?
Is that regular ASA?

Ya regular ASA, the CF reinforced ASA seemed like overkill since this won’t be handling much load or movement.

And i’m using 0.1 for both point distance & thickness with a 0.16 layer height. Basically just trying to find the lightest setting that will hide layer lines. It slows the print down quite a bit but i haven’t tested for any other combinations so i’m sure the results could be better/faster if i took the time to test more.

Are you able to share the file for the spare tire covers? Thanks.

Dashcam mount because adhesive won't stick to the plastic and the cable kept forcing the camera to be unlevel [ STL on Thingiverse ]

Blanking plate for the accessory hitch 4-pin mount [ STL on Thingiverse ]

Cap for the socket wrench so the metal end isn't slapping against expensive glass [ STL on Thangs because Thingiverse keeps hiding it ]

Deeper, wider tray for the console [ STL on Thingiverse ]

And my current work-in-progress, snowbrush mounts for the back seats [ STL on Thingiverse ]

Snow brush mount is a brilliant idea.
