Frame mounted at about 1/2 the price as the popular brands around here, interesting
Well they are not really 1/3 the price once you powder coat get step plates etc.
But yeah very nicely priced for sure.

Thank you!
Yes sorry for my lack of clarity. I bought a 200$ pair. Added them. To my rails, I bolted them at first, they are so snug I put them back on and clipped them on without the bolts.

i really like the RC ones. not much of a step (kids and wife can use tho) but they look good with their lines, and I've tested them on plenty of large set rocks

I had the oem rocksliders on my badlands with Sasquatch package and RC 2 1/2” lift. Was too tall for wife to get in so I bit the bullet and installed a set of Rock Slide Engineering, retractable and added the metal protection. 🤞🏻

How have they held up banging them on rocks?

Just installed before I had my motorcycle wreck. Going out tomorrow and we’ll see how well they do. Also will be adding 37’s in a couple of weeks.

I had the same thing happen to mine when I bought it. Came with some that looked good, but were junk when you needed to use it.
Went with RCI, I had great luck beating the snot out of RCI stuff on my F-150 before I got the Bronco.

These have held up very well in our adventures in Bridgeport and in Moab.

These steps came on my 2 door when I bought it and don't have any branding. (I found them via google photo search and they're junk from BuiltRough on Amazon. My fault for not researching and replacing prior to using)

Last trip out they bent right into the body so I want something with better protection/clearance & preferably some sort of step (sasquatch and lifting 2" + 37's).

There are so many options, who have you used that's really held up?

I got the RCI sliders on mine, they were about the only bolt on frame mounted sliders available at the time. They're tough; I slammed down on them off a ledge by accident and I hit them hard enough that I could see where they kissed the pinch weld on the body. No permanent bending or real damage though. If I hit any harder I might have set off the airbags honestly. I haven't seen it happen with broncos yet but jeep guys have blown airbags doing that.

I did the RCI 5 degree frame mounted bolt on sliders. Then I painted the bottom of the fender tab to make it look better. 5 degrees makes a better step than 20 degrees. Work really well.

I have these too. Have had them on previous vehicles as well and they take abuse. They use DOM tube and heavy wall square and are made to actually be used.

Before my Bronco was a week old, I installed the Barricade Open Trail HD Running Boards. I have bounced off rocks many times and they are very strong. They are scratched, but not bent.

What covering do you have on the pinch weld?
