I had KO3’s installed recently. These only came in E rated. The side walls are stiffer, but I haven’t noticed a huge difference in ride quality.

Wondering what tire pressure others are running in a similar sized E rated tire. Want to know what the optimum tire pressure would be for ride and optimum tire wear.

In theory, the bigger tire should require less pressure over the stock 285/70/R17 tires. But not sure what is correct or appropriate.

Opinions?

Sorry, I can’t answer your question. But I was looking at the exact same tires to replace my stock Badlands non-sas tires when they were out. Do you have a picture of how your rig looks with new tires? Would love to see it.

Run the same pressure you would for your weight regardless of load rating. PSI is tire size and vehicle weight dependent. Higher load ratings allow you to run higher pressures to carry more weight, but it is not a requirement.

You are correct about tires with larger volume of air support more weight per PSI than tires with less volume of air, so in general as tire size goes up, psi goes down to support the same amount of weight.

Lots of tire charts out there to help you along the way.

I bought those tires because I wanted the white letter tires or I would’ve never bought load range E’s but they ride better than the Goodyear Sasquatch tires anyway. I run them at 32 psi and I could probably run them at 10 and they wouldn’t squat on a small vehicle like this. I use the same tires on my heavy duty trucks and they’re fantastic. I get 75,000 miles out of them on my heavy duty vehicles and I’m expecting the same out of these.

No, they’re 35 x 12.50 x 17s but the conversation is exactly the same for any size load range E tire on a light duty vehicle. They’re rated for 80 pounds on the side wall, but they’ll run just fine with almost no air in them at all. The wheels are 17x9 zero offset with non-Sasquatch fender flares so they stick out a bit. I also have the same tire wheel combination on my Sasquatch and the tread is basically covered by the Sasquatch flares, but the sidewall of the tires stick out past the flares. The silver one has the Sasquatch flares, and the black one is pictured with the old Sasquatch wheels before I got the zero offset wheels installed. The last picture is how the black one looks with zero offset wheels installed now.
