2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Excellent Where did you get it and how much was it? I did some calling around and most of these dealers are useless. I did however find it on line for $845 but there's a $300 core charge?

I was not able to find the part for purchase anywhere online, and tbh $845 sounds too low. It's super important you get the exact part number mentioned previously in the thread, it needs to start with an S. To my knowledge it can only be ordered by an official dealer parts department though a special system as it requires you to tell them your mileage.

All good I appreciate the emphasis. So for clarity:

Save as built -> swap cluster -> write ‘25 as built to IPC -> update mileage -> enjoy

That seems ways easier than messing with FDRS.

Bingo! I would also save the as built again after you install the new one but before you write the 25 data. And actually I didn't even have to update mileage because the dealer asked for mine when I ordered it and it came with exactly that number already.

For getting the as built data, you can get it from https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt once you find the VIN of a vehicle with matching options. I made sure it had the same engine and options package (V6, Lux) but V6 also guaranteed 10 speed auto. If you have a 4 cylinder you'd probably need to also ensure the transmission matches

I only wrote the as built data from the 25 for the IPC via Forscan. That’s super important, 100% do not write the as built for any other modules because I assume you’ll have major issues. And of course back up your existing as built data both before you unplug the old cluster and again before you write any data to the new one.

I had a 2025 loaner for awhile as mine was getting serviced and the display was nice, but like others have mentioned, don't really look at it much and agreed that it was "less data" (no numbers) on some things that don't make sense. Maybe it's for the new generation of drivers that don't care and just want cool graphics?

Anyway, would like to make mine more modern, but suspension and other things first...

I think your points are fair! Honestly the big thing for me is I just think it's kind fun to keep my 22 up to the same level with stuff they've added to later model years. Now that the HOSS 3.0 Fox coilovers are purchasable through Ford Performance I'll probably eventually pull the trigger on those too .

At the end of the day I've had zero mechanical issues with my 22 and to repurchase it with the same spec as a 25 is like $30k more than my trade in so happy to pay $1-2k every year to do some upgrades instead of having a car payment again

I have to agree with this. My 22 has been great and to replace it would be about $10k higher msrp. I might have to consider upgrading that dash now.

Will also agree. My21 has been rock-solid, and honestly, I am so far down the rabbit hole, I would need to do a lot to get were I am currently with it. Spending some money to update some things to the new tech would be better than tearing down my current RIG and starting the rebuild all over again.

Hoping some of the pricing comes down. Panda MS is just to much money for their cluster and programming. The new 25 cluster may be a way to go if it becomes easier to get. I have not followed along with it, but now, since more has been done on the swap, I'll look more into it.

Ooooo good point I hadn‘t considered. Lux would probably be the right choice as you said since the only difference would be a lack of radar cruise. I tested it this morning after seeing your post and it has different animations when radar cruise is turned off so should work!

That does get a bit challenging because Black Diamond isn’t a trim level anymore. So, I think it will just be a Big Bend with 2.3L 7MT MID that should do the trick for me.

I had the same thought process initially. However, based on how @Ducati1098 did it with via a PMI using the VIN of a 2025, FDRS will configure the module based on the VIN used, which is why @coadr used the ab data from a 2025 to configure his IPC and not his own.
