I swear I read something about displays not being right until they deleted Eco, but I can't reproduce (unless someone wants to gift my wife a 25 Bronco?) and I'm too lazy to search. I could be wrong, though.

You can have all of the modes on the 2025s but they will not all pop up and display on the screen as you turn the dial though each mode. The vehicle switches to all the modes but one won’t display.

In the plane language Forescan mode there’s a toggle to enable or disable Sport and Eco. It’s as simple as enabling Sport and disabling Eco. Not sure about the other years but on 2025s it will throw a few codes when you enable / disable drive modes. Once you clear them they don’t. One back.

FYI when I attended the Nevada Offroadeo last month my guide said there no difference in the set up between Sport and Baja so you can just go into Baja and then switch into 2H and it drives just like Sport.

The difference I noticed is sport selects 4A and Baja selects 4H. If you do use Baja, do not forget to switch to 2H or 4A. When you select Baja a screen pops up saying not for use on roads.

Correct. You need to manually switch it to 2H. Baja won’t let you select 4A.

I vaguely remember something about that. I should have taken notes when I went.

Huge difference between how Baja and Sport drive... Try it. Baja also locks out upper gears (overdrive)... But go ahead, believe the guide if you want.

On my 25 Badlands when you put it in Baja you can not change to 4A - 2H is the only other drive that works.

On my 25 it lets me switch to 2H but I get a message when I try to select 4A saying it’s unavailable in the selected mode.

I'm traveling right now, but almost certain I have all modes in my 2025. I intend to remove Eco but haven't done so yet.
Closing the loop on this one. I did confirm when I added Sport mode I no longer had Rock crawl available. I removed Eco and Rock crawl reappeared as a selection.

I am new to FORScan and would like instructions on turning off Eco Mode. I have the info to turn on Sport mode from the Google Doc.

Thanks in advance.

There seems to be some variation on this. I just went into ABS with Forscan to disable Eco. I had previously added Sport mode, so before I disabled Eco, I checked to see how many modes I had. I had all 8 modes including Rock Crawl. I was able to successfully disable Eco and now I am back to 7 modes.

I never use Eco and now I can go straight to Sport from Normal. I did try Eco when I first got my Bronco for a couple weeks but did not like it.

I have seen where Baja and Sport are considered the same with the exception of Baja is 4WD and Sport is 4A. I have found that Baja also shifts at a higher rpm than Sport. Baja also does not go into the highest gears. I think Sport uses all gears but have not fully explored that.
