Went on my first proper adventure with my Bronco up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. One of my favorite day trips to take. Bronco did great!

Got up to Baker Lake, behind Mt. Baker, WA, and across the dam (yes, I took the video of crossing the dam like everyone has to, hahaha).

Here's a shot of the famous stratovolcano, at least I think it's behind the clouds somewhere there...

and I am getting bloody tired of driving gravel roads with wet potholes -- 2H tackles them fine and airing down a little almost seems a waste of time, but I want to go easier of the roads and there are sharp rocks here and there on some side trails.

Here's a little offshoot trail that is steeper and rockier than it looks (honest!) in this snapshot from a video (iphone stuck in a bush).

I did use a CRES (what you call, "stainless steel", smile) bracket I attached for the negative clamp of the compressor for airing up.
I wanted something easier to use than one of the little threaded posts on the battery or some funky place on the vehicle that might create an odd current loop.

I know, I know, more free electrons in copper and all that.... and, I do see the toothed washer isn't exactly the right size, but I used what I have.

It works well!

Best tire store in the PNW. Might be higher priced than some of the chain stores but Les started a good thing and so far the new owners are keeping the small town tradition alive.

So the Bronco is my wife’s car and I did all this while she and our daughter went to tour a college with friends.

I debated not telling her and seeing when she noticed. I lasted two days and said check this out and remote started it.

She said: what?

I said: the BRONCO letters light up now

she said: looks cool, didn’t it already?

I drove 4.5hrs topless in the rain to snag this Rally Top hard top. Then drove 4.5hrs home. Terrible photo, but arrived safely after a long day.

Meant to go kayaking with the kids this morning but one ended up having a meltdown before we got to the water.

If nothing else I got to experience carrying the kayaks on the cheapo roof rack at highway speed and got a neat photo for my troubles.

Attended Bronco Off Roadeo Event in Maryville TN. It was a great experience and I learned alot about the features and capabilities of these awesome vehicles.

Added TOR Billet Chase/3rd Brake light. I have it on and the 3rd brake is wired, I now need to run the wire for the chase lights and connect the plug for the reverse lights.

Also, I will update the thread with using these, as I purchased the new "plug n play harness" they have for this solution. It's a little different than the original one, also I have the TOR tire carrier mount, which is also different.
