Any recommendation on cleaning / shining up the plastic “fender flares” (or whatever their real name is)? Thanks!

The best answer. Scrubbing bubbles works surprisingly well.
Oh yeah. Get the flare wet, spray it on, scrub with a toothbrush or other bristle brush and then rinse off.

I'd think it helps spread them actually .... pulling that skank ass at the Starbucks with my shiny flares, mirrors, MIC and Mod Bumper.
... and lets not forget those shiny 35" Mud Terrains!!

Of course, mine's a 2dr, so YMMV.

Remove them. The plastic sucks and if you do any wheeling they get pitted quick. Get some good aftermarket steel fenders.

+1 for Frame Pro (and honestly anything from Ammo)

Id pull them off and clean them with a good quality soap. Even something like Dawn (i would never use dish soap on painted surfaces but since I'm suggesting removing them from the body and they're not painted) and use something like Frame Pro.

Edit: He actually suggests dish soap or a wheel cleaner first

the chemical guys Natural shine works well enough. although the last time I used their tire shine and that lasted much longer.
I took off one flare once to clean it. I live down a dirt road, never gonna do that again. just clean it as good as I can at the carwash, and move on. My flares have so much trail rash I don't worry too much anymore, embrace the patina.
