AOAA Saturday may 17

My wife bought us a pass to AOAA may 17, but didn't realize you can't go alone. I have never done anything like this before, but would like to do green and blue trails... probably.

Is anyone else going that day? What has been your experience trying to link up with people blindly?

We are 2 hrs away so I don't want to get into a situation where we drove all the way there and either can't go or have a bad time.

As long as you feel comfortable wheeling solo, it shouldn’t be an issue. I’ve gone a few times on slow days and they didn’t blink an eye.

this is a great way to take your first time, Have gone on numerous rides both solo and group at AOAA with these folks, ur in good hands..my last rig at AOAA

I didn't go. Driving 2hrs there and back with a babysitter back home ..it just wasn't going to be any fun.

Tri-state broncos is going there June 6 I believe? Maybe I can do that.

The local early Bronco group has their event near Rausch on 6/19 - 6/21. There will be a lot of EBs and some new ones at Rausch that weekend.

Unfortunately rausch seems silly expensive!

I think my itch has been scratched for right now, I'll probably go to AOAA again next year. We went all over the green on the east side, I didn't even go to the west half at all yet.

What trails did you do on East? I heard East is tighter trails than west.

It was tight, especially one up north (7?) where the description said it was narrow for jeeps. We did most of the green on the east.
