I know it's short notice. Going to AOAA tomorrow, 8/9, in case anyone wants to come along...

I've been to Rausch but never been to AOAA. Did you enjoy enough to return?

I go all the time to both, and like them both. At AOAA, the difficulty changes pretty dramatically between the green and blue and blue and black trails. AOAA is cheaper, with lots of trails to drive on. The more difficult trails are further apart, whereas at Rausch, the trails are closer together. AOAA is more scenic.

I’ve hit AOAA a few times now. I lie that the trails seem to be wider than RC. Less pin stripes. I think they mark their trails well and it seems that a green trails a green trail and a blue is a blue. I’ve felt for some rookies I’ve seen out there driving greens at RC. Erosion has made many of them blues. Live both of them and super spoiled their within an hour of home.

Same here, distance-wise. Rausch has gotten pretty overgrown. Spent quite a while clearing a few trails the last time in the other rig.

My buddies were busting my balls when they saw the loppers in the back! Didn’t even have to bust them out at AOAA.
