Hello! I just got a 2025 Big Bend and I’m having the same issues and came here looking to see if others were…any solutions yet? Thanks!

We are still waiting for this "fix". Don't understand why this is taking so long to get to the Broncos when it's already in the F150s and MachE's. I have guesses..... but their SW development process is a walled garden.

@rugedraw Do you know if that update was an Early Access update? Just discovered that there are updates that can be part of an early access program.
The OP of the post says he is in EA, so yea......it may be early access only.

Once they release it in FDRS, it will be an easy fix for anyone comfortable with FORScan. The ACM is a very quick and easy flash. I haven't checked the VINs of any 2025 Broncos since this first arose to see if an ACM update is available now, but I doubt it.

Any update on this? My '25 Heritage is doing the same thing. Any way to disable Sirius?

I haven’t seen anything. My ride is still doing it. I have been in touch with someone else who has had this issue and got a new ACU. They said it’s fixed for them. I am going to check with them later and see if it lasts. Then I’ll be at the dealership. I have had it with this. Super annoying

It’s been long enough. I am taking it into the shop to see about dealing with this. If this was fixable with a software update, it should have happened by now.

I have found that the Volume knob handles all three separate volumes:
- Radio/XM/Audio
- Navigation
- Phone/Bluetooth

It can be tricky to catch the Navigation announcement ("Turn left ahead") to make sure the NAV volume is set properly. I'll reach over after not hearing something and turn it up only to have the radio volume affected. "Darn, missed it again"

Yes, I'm aware that you can adjust the volume in the menus somewhere, it just happens when I'm travelling and cannot go searching through the menus.

Forgot to update the thread after my visit to the dealer.

SSM 54164 2025 Bronco – 7 Speaker Audio System – Intermittent No Audio And/Or Various Speaker Fault DTCs Stored In The ACM

Some 2025 Bronco vehicles equipped with a 7 speaker audio system (minor feature code IDBAL) may exhibit an intermittent no audio condition and/or speaker fault with diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) B128A:01, B128A:11, B128A:12, B128A:13, B1288:11, B1288:12 and/or B1238:17 stored in the audio control module (ACM). To confirm a vehicle is built with a certain minor feature code, review the build information by clicking "Additional Information" under Vehicle ID Tab > Vehicle Information, or double-clicking the vehicle identification number (VIN) in the upper left corner on Professional Technician System (PTS). To correct this condition, disconnect the negative battery cable and wait two minutes before reconnecting. If the no audio condition is not resolved, refer to the Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 415-00 for normal diagnostics outside of this article. If the no audio condition is resolved and the DTCs remain, this concern may be due to the ACM software.

Replacement of the ACM and/or speakers will not resolve this condition. Inform the customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q3 2025. Monitor PTS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available. For claiming, use causal part 18806 and labor operation 10654C of the Service Labor Time Standards (SLTS) Manual

Do I have to assume this doesn’t address known issues, like the one in this thread? Release notes available for this?
ECG2-25.2.8.5. Maybe it is addressed in this update?

Correct. That is a GWM update. But, this is a prerequisite to the APIM update that may address your concerns. From what I have been seeing on other forums, you may get it in a days followed by a third update for the TCU.

Edit: The APIM update mentioned above is not meant to correct the issue this thread is about; it is an ACM update that fixes it.

Thanks for the info... good to know. @rugedraw Do you know if the future updates indicate what they address? I know that Ford issued a Recall that is to be fixed over the air for the instrument cluster going blank, so I am wondering if this might be the reason and other fixes might come with it.
