I find that pretty compelling as well. Looking at the Carfax it looks like the original dealer just sent the Bronco to auction. It's essentially a new Bronco, I think my "new" Bronco had about that many miles on it when they delivered it. I'd check that out especially if its what you are looking for. The warranty probably went into effect at the auction when the new dealer took possession so you will lose a little warranty. Pick up an extended from Granger.

Sometimes you have to think out of the box to find what you want at the price you want. I bought my HLE from a dealer in Kansas and I'm in NC, it was the best price I could find and beat the local dealers by at least $5k.
True, I just have some concerns buying from a used car lot, a lot of them are skeezy and I question why someone bought a new Bronco and got rid of it with such low mileage. For all I know it was a lemon buy back that this used car dealership is trying to pawn off on someone.

Found on lot, been sitting for months. Even if you find one across country, worth a fly and buy.
An option I would consider but I am going to wait to see if the ones I am finding within 300 miles of me will drop in price in the coming months, I was planning to bring the one car I was going to trade in and use it to get a few thousand off on the Bronco. It's going to be a major hassle to sell my trade in locally, fly half way across the country and drive back home.

$45k is going to be hard without ordering it, which is going to make it more of a negotiation on price. Granger is a dealership, I think in Iowa? They also sell low cost fix-priced Ford ESP warranty extension. They're just a good dealership to work with.

I would say you best be is finding a 2024 and bidding low and seeing if they come back to you. Some will be looking to move them no matter what, some may not. $45k is unfortunately a difficult number to get to if you're wanting v6 and an off road package.

Maybe look at the Base as an order, and get an order in soon? That's kinda what I wished I had done (or known about) when I got my 23 2dr BL 2.3 High package. Just depends if you feel you need or want all the modern stuff or not.

Note you can pass on an order most of the time. Granger is a good dealership to work with on orders. Some little or no deposit, usually refundable. (Mine was $100 and I got it back before it came in, plus price lock insurance, but that was a Ford reservation during COVID.) Put in an order and keep on looking. I don't think most dealerships would mind if they have a spare Base on their lot.
I will have to look into it but driving or flying half way across the country to purchase is going to be a final option, at that point I rather just wait another year to save more and order one, see if Ford or the dealerships will give me some rebates on a new ordered one and just have to live with the 2.3L.

I actually considered the Base package but you cannot get the mid package on it, which is something I want.

I've got a Race Red 2022 Black Diamond 2.7-liter with the hard top I am about to sell. It has 51k miles. Runs great.
Appreciate the offer but I don't like the 4 Doors and I might settle for something that has a couple hundred miles on it but not much more than that.

Carmax or Carvana to dispose of you current vehicle. Everything really depends on how much $$ you can save as to whether it's worth the hassle. I saved a little over $5k by buying from a Kansas dealer. I put in my due diligence with dealers close to me but most of them laughed and said no way they could meet that price. I don't think they believed me, oh well. Cost me $750 to have it shipped from Kansas to NC. You have the internet at your finger tips and you can search the whole country looking for exactly what you want or you can "hope" the dealers near you will drop their prices. Put in some time and look at what the rest of the country is offering and see what kind of deal you can make. The Kansas dealer I dealt with said they sell all over the country.

Looking at the Carfax the Bronco was never titled, it appears the original dealer sent it off to the auction. According to Carfax it's a clean title, if it was a lemon buy back I believe the title would state that.

I agree 4A is great. I use it most of the time because I prefer Sport mode.
Badlands doesn't have Sport Mode unless you add it with Forescan.

Yeah that's a shame. I test drove a Badlands Sasquatch for 72k. It had a color matched hard top, automatic seats, the new high end sound system, etc. It was cool but not worth 25k more than what I paid for my new Big Bend w/Black Diamond Package. Everyone's different and I don't judge anyone for how they elect to spend their money. I prefer to have no car payment so I try to be judicious about what I buy.

I have been holding out on a 2 Door Bronco Badlands with the 2.7L and the mid package, a local dealership had 3 of them for a good price but the price shot up $8000 while I was waiting on the recall for the shocks, dealer is telling me the earliest it will be ready is August and 5 other people are showing interest in them. Problem is not many of the 2 doors are floating around with the equipment I want and Ford stopped offering the them 2.7L on the 2 door for 2025 (Not counting the model for $75,000....).

I am also trying to get a final out the door price of around $45,000, most dealers that have the Bronco I want either a Badlands or a Black Diamond with the Sasquatch Package want almost $55,000 for them even though they have been sitting around for a year. So I am considering settling on a Black Diamond without the Sasquatch package as they're more of them in my area with the equipment I want at a price I find agreeable. I am just trying to figure out if I can do without the additional features of the Badlands or Sasquatch.

I live in Eastern Pennsylvania, I probably won't be doing rock crawling, just hitting trails in my area and trying to get to work in heavy snow. I see the Black Diamond has the full underside steel skid plates, which I want. I should be fine without the 4 Auto mode, I don't think I am going to be at a loss running 33" wheels, I don't think I need bead locks. What I am more upset about losing out on is the front lockers, I see they can be added on later but it will probably cost me thousands but do I even really need front lockers? The only other concern is suspension system (Hoss 1.0) much worse than what's available on the Badlands or the Sasquatch package? Plus I am sure the aftermarket and Ford Performance offer the parts to add it on down the road.

Thoughts?
Better to have and not need, then to need and not have.

I also went to an Off-Roadeo. There was a loose rocky hill. With a front and rear locker engaged, no problem. With just a rear locker engaged, had to use a winch.

I by no means an expert, but it was impressive.
In the real world, the vast majority of roads are made for vehicles that don't have front lockers. Extreme off road trails are pretty niche on the east coast where I live. It's just not worth it IMO. Mine has 4A and 33 inch all terrains. This is plenty of capability for anything I'd do.

used to be ya could get 4A transfer with a rear locker on some trims (BD & OBX without Sasquatch)…not sure when it stopped but no longer available in ‘25 anyway…we lived without it forever…ran in 4wd in rain & snow alot of times without problems…but now having 4A I do use it more…not a deal breaker for me…
I just bought a Big Bend with the Black Diamond Package and it has 4A and Sport Mode.

I too have a 2.7 2 door non sas badlands. Again, the only thing missing is the bigger tires, which I bought takeoffs from a first edition (wildtrack). I took off the crash bars, put on tires, and swapped fender flairs. Best bang for buck. I got almost $10k off, so $45k out the door.

You got a great deal and I love the two door look.

Yeah, major dilemma thanks to the Bilstein shock recall removing the perfectly equipped Bronco I wanted at a price I liked, now I have to hope it will still be available months from now and the dealership will not try to rip me off as according to them 5 people are interested in it.

Since last night, I am starting to think the feature I will lose out on most is the 4A mode, so I will be watching my options and hoping something properly equipped becomes available over the next 6 months.
It seems like you are getting a bit closer in the process. My previous trucks did not have 4A so I am used to it but I can see how having that convenience can make a difference. Good luck with the decision making, we are all on your side!!! BTW, the recall affect a lot of fellow Bronco owners...

Unless you are doing some crazy trails the black diamond is way plenty as you said you can upgrade a few things along the way I just did a 2 inch front 1 inch back lift and I’ve done some decent trails in Moab no problems at all most all of us will only off-road about 10 percent of the time I’ve got 70k on mine I know I haven’t been off road 7k yet

If you're on a slippery surface or off road, I don't think there's much difference between 4A and regular 4X4. The difference comes if you're driving on pavement with slippery spots where you can't have the transfer case locked. Then you have the advantage of all wheel drive without risking destroying your drive train.
