I had a black Power Wagon. Looked BEAUTIFUL when it was clean...which was almost never. It showed every bit of dirt, pollen, you name it. Eventually I embraced it and started washing it once a month, and only taking pictures after it was washed.

If you want it to stay clean, put it in a garage under a cover.

Omg no way! The way wife walks around garage throwing stuff! It gets dirty in driveway but not damaged. Between wife and kid it would get damaged in garage lol

I don’t get it man. I used to have Silver Bronco and it was always clean .

This Raptor though is always dirty.

My neighbor did the opposite: He went from a black Honda to a white Honda and at one time estimated he saved like a gazillion dollars in Buc-ee's car washes. Ol' Black Beauty looked tired and dirty all the time. It's the nature of glossy black paint.

keep in mind that you are probably the only person looking at it so closely, (I do it all the time) But from a distance it looks clean. I know where it's dirty so I tend to focus on those areas. but at the end of the day, if you drive it, it's dirty.

It’s dusty green from pollen lol.

I was cleaning other day and it was getting dirty while cleaning it lol.

‘Tis the season.

I can watch the pollen rain out of the pine trees in my driveway. It’s like pixie dust that makes me sneeze

LOL! I have two other black cars, and my girlfriend also has a black car. There was no way I was getting black again for my Bronco.

As I said in another thread. Black isn't a color, it's a relationship. It's clean for about 10 minutes until the dust settles on it. Pollen season is even more maddening.

The Cactus Grey of my Bronco does a nice job of hiding the dirt. The Ceramic infused PPF I had applied helps too.

Watch out. My neighbor's pine drops some kind of caustic sap that eats into vehicles. It ate into the fender flares on my friend's Jeep, and the paint on top of my car, before I realized what was happening.

I have a ding in my hood from the oak tree, and there has been some sticky sap that's a pain to clean up, but haven't seen any acidic goo yet or anything that etched or damaged anything like that.

Then again, it's mostly been sap on windshield/hood paint, don't think I've had it on plastic trim... it may damage that. Good point.

It comes with having a black vehicle. Looks amazing when clean, but quickly shows dust/dirt/road grime.

Usually you get about ten minutes.

I just crossed 2 years of Bronco ownership and my Azure Grey rig has been washed exactly once. And that was because a buddy had a spare token he gave me to the closest car wash (60 miles away). My interior has never been vacuumed, but I do have rubber mats, which have a half inch of sand on them.

Its a Bronco, made to work hard and get dirty.

With the wheels sticking out it's pretty hard to not have it look filthy. That's why when I was deciding on colors I chose the Azure grey because it looks good dirty. With black, there's nothing you can do. I've owned one black car in my life and the only time it looked pretty was right after a wash.
