You should read the rack-hack thread...very similar when replacing the pscm. Super Easy.
Yep! Also similar to how you install an unlocked PCM for tuning because mine was a used PCM that originally had an F150 VIN which needed to be removed and swapped with my own. Able to do all that with FDRS though, didn’t even need forscan.

This is really cool. Any walk thru on how to do this? What is needed?

After having the new cluster for a little while, I finally had time to try and make this swap work.

I haven't had a lot of time to go through everything or look in forscan to see what else I may be able to change/adjust on it, but overall I'm thrilled with the results.
This cluster (IMO) looks a million times better.
Everything is functioning as it should. All the goat modes work flawlessly.
Honestly the worst part of the whole cluster is that it shows a moar door for its goat mode transition images 🤮 Hoping there's a way to change that, but considering I used a Stroppe VIN for programming, I'm guessing there isn't (Thanks Ford)

Retail price for this cluster doesn't seem to be listed yet. I get parts at cost, so I don't know how much it will be for everyone else.

How did you order it? I know IPCs are ordered through the online 1878s. Did you just use that Stroppe VIN and select customer pay?

Yep. I don’t even think there was a spot that specified warranty vs CP. It just wants a VIN, miles and the engineering part number

Ok cause everything i have to order on the 1878 usually asks if it's a Ford paid repair or a customer paid repair. Good to know. Is the Stroppe the only one that gets this cluster or do all of them get it. I just want to know what my choices are when I order it

From what I can see, or have found. The part number is the same for all 2025 2.3/2.7’s

Do you happen to have the Engineering number available. I'm trying to order it now
Godspeed, I tried with a dealer here in Denver and they eventually said no because they were worried it would cause issues for the vehicle that they used the VIN to order with

Unfortunately I don’t think the numbers/temps or the 2 door images will happen.
Even this digital cluster doesn’t seem more “user programmable” It just is what it is.
Actually it's programmable via forscan beta, I've got the raptor cluster on wildtrac and with calibration files from Chinese bronco I've programed it to bronco animation. I'd like to try your cluster animation if possible please send me the calibration files of IPC.

Yeah in the end, the Braptor cluster has much better features. Would’ve been nice if they just offered a more similar one to that.

For me, while not perfect, this one is still far better than the 21-24 cluster and half the price of the Braptor, plus someone had to see it it would work lol
You can easily swap the firmware to Braptor style and enjoy the performance screen and other great Braptor options, just need the calibration files and forscan beta, I've got the required calibration files if want to try them.

Yeah that’s pretty cool, but then I’m guessing all of my animations would be Braptors, correct?
I could’ve just bought a Braptor cluster if I wanted all that. It’s bad enough having regular 4 doors animations as a 2 door owner 🤣

I meant programmable as in adding only certain features of the raptor cluster to the regular 25MY cluster. Like the performance mode, current gear indicator or simply just programming all the temperature/gauge readouts to show on the MY25 cluster. If you have any way of programming/changing those things alone, I’m all ears.

Anyway, if you show me where to find those calibration files in forscan, I'll be more than happy to post them.
But I've looked and even with the 2.4.16 beta, I don't have an IPC module firmware update tab anywhere that I can find.

Sweat! look at that usable RPM gauge!
I don't know which engineer at Ford though the vertical Tetris block RPM gauge was a good Idea. I can only hope that person and all the others who encourage that and didn't say anything when they had a chance all stump their pinky toes weekly on sharp edges for the rest of their lives.
