SASSYI have a 2023 Big Bend Sasquatch and I am trying to come up with some configuration for a vanity license plate. So far I have thought of:
SknkApe
Wendigo
Tornit

Anyone have any suggestions for Squatch themed plate?

The original poster is in California, so it's almost guaranteed that all the good ones are taken already. I read somewhere that there are over a million personalized plates in California. I had quite a few when I lived there and couldn't get the spelling that I wanted for most of them. I have seven of them hanging on the wall in my garage that I didn't give back either when selling a vehicle with one, or after moving the vehicle to another state.Check with your motor vehicle office. A lot of the cute ones are already taken. Perhaps they have a search field that lets you check for availability.
Yet another good reason to move to Idaho. The original poster is in California, so it's almost guaranteed that all the good ones are taken already. Ten years ago, anybody could check if a particular plate was available in California. I did a lot of checking to come up with mine. But it looks like they've changed it so that you have to include a VIN that is already in their system. That's fine for a California resident, but it stops me from checking now that I'm in a different state.
In any case, the first step is come up with a few that you would like, then see if any are available, including alternate spellings. At some point you have to settle on something that might not quite be exactly what you wanted.
Now Idaho, where I live now, it's easy to get the correct spellings of most of the stuff that you might want. Way, way fewer personalized plates in this state.

Ok I Googled it and apparently a Sasquatch/Big Foot is also known as a "Skunk Ape" in Florida. Is the first one Skank Ape??
No! Don't come here! You'll hate it.Yet another good reason to move to Idaho.
Thanks for that link. I don't know why I couldn't find that one the last time I looked. I wanted to find out if my son could get the same plate for his Bronco that I have on mine. Unless he got it and didn't tell me, it's gone (of course). It's nice to see that any random person can check plate availability. You can still check if plates are available in California. Your tag reminds me of a story where someone had the word “ NONE” as their vanity plate. Unfortunately every time the police found a vehicle without a tag they wrote “ NONE” in the specified box on the form. The owner of the vanity plate received hundreds of notifications from the police and motor vehicle admin with every vehicle that didn’t have a tag. I can just imagine every time they record “ BRONCO” the possibility of you getting pinged by the computer system . lolThe dog convinced me to go with:
