"Lifted Explorer"The should rename the 4-door Heritage something like "The Wanna Be Bronco", or maybe the "Kid Hauler Bronco".

Maybe Bronco Sport? Oops, that's taken. The should rename the 4-door Heritage something like "The Wanna Be Bronco", or maybe the "Kid Hauler Bronco".
Only if you sell it and do not replace it with another 2 door.... Any year counts as long as it has 2 doors! If they do away with the 2-door does that mean I need to change my signature?
What if you use a Sawzall and a welding torch (ok, and a few other tools) to turn a 4-door into a 2-door? Does that count?Only if you sell it and do not replace it with another 2 door.... Any year counts as long as it has 2 doors!
I suppose it would.... If it only has two doors... and the fact that you would be purposely building it.... Seems to match that tagline pretty well...What if you use a Sawzall and a welding torch (ok, and a few other tools) to turn a 4-door into a 2-door? Does that count?![]()
Totally agree!!!!!Folks at Ford should realize that people like me (retired) don't want 4-door soccer haulers... and we actually have $$$.
No 2-door Heritage edition. Think about it! The only Bronco that comes close to the looks of the original 2-door Bronco IS A CURRENT 2-DOOR Bronco.

Ford does that crap all the time. There are dozens of so called off road capable vehicles out there but most carry the groceries and are WAY WAY to long for true off road capability. They come out with good ideas all the time like the small van etc. and then when others copy their ideas they drop the line.....grrr...If 4 doors were the only option I wouldn’t be driving a Bronco. I
was considering trading in my 23BD for a 25 Heritage but now that there are no more 2 door heritages I’ll have to stick with what I have. Plus the limited availability of the V6 is also a bummer
Excellent point: I also would have kept my Wrangler if the Bronco wasn't available as a two-door.If there wasn't a 2-door Bronco... I would have kept my 2-door Wrangler.

At the very least, there are times two-doors are better for off-roading. There are times the manuals are better for off-roading. It just depends upon what you're trying to do and where you're at. I live where there are forests with narrow trails and potential snow that I can rock out of, others live in the wide-open west in the sand and rocks trying to claw up high, steep faces where short wheelbases will struggle. Sure, we can poke fun, but there truly are pluses and minuses on both sides.Ford does that crap all the time. Anyway, sorry for wandering but for off road 2dr's ar much superior.
Amen to thisIf they kill the 2dr options, I'll get a chuckle at my lic. plate every morning all the more ;-)
Not because I think that 2dr is the be-all and end-all of all the be-alls, but because despite Ford's quality reputation, they "get" the primal driver experience more deeply than most brands. And these 2dr are Ford's love letter to us.
As of 6:35 p.m. EST I just ordered a 2-door Bronco Badlands. Sasquatch pkg and H.O.S.S. 3.0 pkg. Marsh Gray/Black Appearance pkg. 2.3 liter/7-speed manual transmission. So I'm doing my part to keep the 2-door going. My last hurrah.Amen to this
That's a truly good last hurrah. I felt the same way. You're gonna like it. Congratulations! As of 6:35 p.m. EST I just ordered a 2-door Bronco Badlands. Sasquatch pkg and H.O.S.S. 3.0 pkg. My production date is 3/31 for my 2DR Badlands, SAS, Hoss 3.0 (with the auto). For me, it’s all about the stance, and I think the 4DR doesn’t look right until it gets 37s. I’m retired, no kids or grandkids, so 2 doors will be plenty. OG. Purpose built, and my purpose won’t be hauling around a bunch of passengers or 800lbs of Overlanding and photo gear for my YouTube channel videos. As of 6:35 p.m. EST I just ordered a 2-door Bronco Badlands.
