Yep same here such a bipolar weather but I’m honestly sick and tired of the wind
Lived in Saudi as a kid and that place has windstorms. They had these things called shamals which are basically sandstorms that act like hurricanes. They'd close up the school but still have sand dunes at every door and window they had to clean up afterwards. One time almost got stuck outside on the playground, which was really scary.

We've had gusts up to 100mph in the area, and here in Denton up to 70+. I couldn't open my truck's door on Saturday or Sunday when I was trying to get out at Lowes; I had to wait for a lull. Roofs are getting pulled up, limbs broken off. We had a lot of sand in the air Friday. Not as bad as a bad hailstorm, but it's been frustrating to be outside at all the last several days. Today is calm, though.

LOL - What I'm hearing over 40mph sounds like the passenger window is cracked open. It took the wife being in the passenger seat to recognize that the sound is actually between us - coming from the roof. There's a very detailed post adding a load of weatherstrip to the roof panels to aid in alleviating that. Then I'm told that - having addressed that - it seems to enhance the 'Road noise'.

Rather than chasing my tail, I just lean into the noise and go ahead and crack the window open.
Any suggestions on how to find that post?

searching for “roof noise” probably won’t help
