I hope to go buy something tomorrow and want to get a cargo mat for it. Would you buy the less expensive Husy or is the Weather Tech worth the price?

I went with this one for my 2-door, since it had cut outs that allow access to the floor hooks/tethers.

We don’t use the rear for passengers so that isn’t an issue for us.
I have the same ford cargo mat. I don’t know how yours doesn’t slide. I’ll have to check about how mine covers the threshold. I don’t recall that it does. Maybe mine isn’t aligned properly.
Nothing on the market offers better coverage than weathertech for front and rear mats. You can not like the design, function or quality but that’s a fact which is primarily why we run them in all of our vehicles.
Have had Weathertechs over the years and swore never again. Husky coverage is better in a lot of applications. My Subaru Crosstrek for instance, there is no comparison. Weathertech, little coverage on the dead pedal, nothing for the gas lever pocket. Husky beats them for coverage by miles. That's my go to since the latter let me down several times. Should have known better.

That doesn’t hold for any of the vehicles I’ve owned over the years which are all suv and pickups prior to the Bronco raptor for reference. I’m sure there are exceptions as you’ve pointed out. Just none that apply to vehicles I own and have owned.

I had a pair of Weathertechs in my Avalanche. I didn't like the hard plastic.

I went with the Husky's for my Bronco and am very happy with them. They fit (lay) very well and I like the softer rubber feel and grip.

I've done this exercise with a few different brands and landed on the ones from Mabett. Raised edges to keep liquids from getting everywhere, yet ot has cut outs molded in for the tie downs. They don't slip and slide around.

Get the Husky X-Act Contour mats, you won't regret it. They won't be floppy and curl up like the cheapo Chinesium mats (OEM or Amazon resellers). And they have a soft rubbery feel compared to the hard plastic of the WeatherTech.

Husky's X contours are the way to go in any vehicle. I had them for 9 years in a F150 and never an issue. Pull them out pressure wash the dirt from months of use and put them back in. Look brand new. When that truck was totalled, but the huskys out layed in the driveway for months, before figuring out that we weren't going to by another F150 from the year range. They were still as good as new and flexible after sunbaked in South Louisiana sun on concrete.

The factory Bronco mats, scrub a dub dub, pressure wash, and still look dirty when dry. I haven't heard anything good about weathertech for the long term. All I hear is the dryout, deformed and hard within a year or two.

Husky 100%. 3W is Meh. Data point have both tried 3W for like 1 min less coverage, NG. Anyone want can’t give away.
