Tail end of last year we got Downpipes, we got throttle body/intake manifold spacers and a few other goodies

What's coming this year, especially with all the red tape being cut?

Umm... what else are you looking for?

Beyond what's out there, I think it's fully built/rebuilt engine time (over bore pistons, crank, cams) and messing with the turbo. Some of this has been done with the 2.3, but... $$$$$$$

Not being able to tune for the 2.3L platform is going to be the biggest restrictor when it comes to aftermarket powertrain parts; when you're starting to mess with things that can adversely affect air/fuel, a tune is needed to keep everything in check.

It also causes my new car lust to flare up. Not even thinking big turbos and st2 clutches, I just want my mods to actually be utilized.

If a tune comes with the caveat of disabling OTA updates, then sign me up!

When the F is someone going to crack the ECU so the 2.3 can be custom tuned? I mean the 2.3 Mustang, Ranger, Focus all can be tuned. What’s up with Bronco? I don’t want an automatic Bronco so 2.3 it is but my FP tune is just ok. Want more. I will buy power mods as soon as we can get custom tunes.

The Mustang and Focus are street machines and people always want more. Most people out there think that the Bronco has plenty of power for it's intended use. I certainly do.

All older models, nothing current. Cracking a PCM is a lot more difficult now then it used to be. It'll probably still be a while before any work around is found.

Blasphemy! If we didn't want moar power, it wouldn't come with the Mustang/FoRS motor

As I said, I'd disable OTA updates entirely if it mean I could extract the power from all my mods

I don't think HP Tuners or SCT has the 2.3L Bronco high on their priority list of ECUs to crack. Not many folks have custom tuned (ECU swapped) their 2.7L or 3.0L, so that's not helping...

Definitely a bummer they aren’t going wild on the 2.3 like the FocusRS nerds. Cobb could sweep the market if they offered an Accessport and custom tuning…

Has anyone tried to stack the Ford ProCal tune and JB4 on the 2.3L? Maybe sprinkle a little E30 or some WMI on top :)

It actually worked pretty well on the 2.7L, but If someone was going that route I would recommend capturing some logs on the JB4 and send them to Terry Burger to review to make sure everything is A-OK w/air/fuel, etc...

Might be the best way to make the most power before custom tuning becomes available.

i think they said we run out of fuel after 400? which i bet that would be close to doing. you’ll need e30 or better i assume.

400 at the crank? Because you wouldn’t be close to 400whp with the stuff @MWILD listed. I don’t see the stock fuel system getting near that either.

Yeah They could. I’ve had 3 Cobb custom tuned Subaru STis since 2007. Still have my 2020 STi. They had a Bronco a few years back and were developing parts but went kind of silent, probably due to tightening emissions compliance laws.
