Very cool. Unfortunately my KMCs have a smooth bore so clips won't work I'll have to come up with something else.it snaps in like the stock Method center cap:

which KMC wheels do you have? shouldn't be too hard to use the existing center cap as a template and design one for the spare that works with the camera. this was probably about a ten minute project, if that, from taking measurements to creating the CAD and sending it off to print.Very cool. The center cap design on my Desert Grenades kind of sucks. They mount directly to the flat face around the lug holes with 3 small bolts.which KMC wheels do you have? shouldn't be too hard to use the existing center cap as a template and design one for the spare that works with the camera. this was probably about a ten minute project, if that, from taking measurements to creating the CAD and sending it off to print.
I bought something similar, they work really well. Some hooks I designed for the cargo area roll cage. Link here to the files.
- M8 x 1.25 screws x 25mm long (picked some up at Lowes)
- Hook "ledge" is 44mm (almost 1.75 freedom units)
- Designed to print laying on the side to keep layer lines in optimal orientation for strength.
- The recess on the back that you can see in the CAD pic is to accommodate for the flange of the nutsert so it sits flush with the cage.

Can I get the file? I need hubcaps, factory hub centric hole diameter...For those with aftermarket wheels who want to replace the basic hub cap with something that fits the OEM Bronco logo:
I am working on a variety of designs but here are a couple examples.
Here is the original for example:

Here is a more radical "retro" design. I kind of love it but also really like the more normal "star" design, not to mention it wont require removal to take the wheel off (not a huge deal)

Here are side views with each of my designs. One "deep dish" (back right). And three star designs, one taller, one flatter, and one more boxy (back left)

I doubt these are plug and play with other aftermarket wheels but the logic is the same, if you got calipers and CAD you can whip them up easily! I can share details about how I designed the hub interface.
For these exact wheels? Or another Black Rhino wheel with the exact same 3 bolt pattern? Some Black Rhinos are different. Just want to make sure beforehand. PM and we can check details. Can I get the file? I need hubcaps, factory hub centric hole diameter...
Do you have the STL ?A couple of additions
Lug plugs

Of courseDo you have the STL ?
Thanks for posting this!! Printed one for my Method 705s and it fits like a glove. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing.here you go. keep in mind this was designed for a specific wheel (Method MR318) and may not fit another application without modification.
I'll check which style of Methods I have, but I printed it and it just fell right in... pause for laughter... but it's dark and I'll get my spare cap and compare in the daylight.it snaps in like the stock Method center cap:

Textured PEI and that part was on the bottom. How did you print that and get a textured surface?
ah cool! I didn’t know those existed. I’ll have to get one. I’ve got a Creality K1C printer.Textured PEI and that part was on the bottom.
