New Hood Option... Xprite?

This is a very nice looking hood. Though for me, having to get it painted and blend the fenders with it is just too much.

Says 46.3 pounds, anyone know what the OEM hood weighs?

Assuming similar gauge and neglecting the “heat extraction cut-outs”, I would guess somewhere around… 15 - 20 lbs. for the OEM hood since aluminum is roughly 1/3rd the weight of steel.
You would also have to add in the weight of the hinges, insulation, hood catch hardware, etc to my guess if their weight is hood sheet metal only.
It’s only a guess & I would be curious if someone has weighed one, or if FoMoCo parts has a shipping weight?
Off to the Google machine to find out!

I'm not enough of a James Dean type to go with a functional hood scoop on my Bronco

Throw some vinyl graphics on it and it could work.

Def a Bronco Rubicon hood......but heh we have grump bumpers, and grills as well. This would not look bad if done correctly.

Decent looking hood, includes some functionality (real scoops) and struts, and not a bad price. Yep try some self applied vinyl, could be a way to get a custom hood at a relatively low cost.

I'm kind of liking this look. A bit different to what's out there, though, it does remind me of a Jeep look.

Will wait on reviews though.
