Does the Fumoto let all the oil out the drain, given there is a bolt that goes up into the pan? Meaning is there a 1/4 inch or so of oil that remains in the pan?
Good question but I couldn't answer without removing the plug to check the difference between the pan thread depth and the length of the plug threads. And the point of buying it was to never do that again. I just make sure the oil is hot and start draining the second I shut it off. With premium oil that little bit won't make a difference.

If you do look at this on your own let us know. It's easy enough to thread a nut onto the drain plug threads, cut off the excess thread length, and remove the nut to clean the threads. Just make sure you measure with the plastic gasket on the plug so it's not short.

I get what you mean now 🫡

With the extension it might be a little too close to the bash plate. But I'm happy to crawl under and check if you want. If it fits I honestly think the F137N would be a better option. I really wanted that longer nipple for ease of getting the drain tube to stick. Then you wouldn't have to wedge it between the bash plate slots to make it stay on.
Though the drain appears to be ahead of that crossmember, I think I'll try the F107SX first with the drain port at a 45 degree angle pointing forward. If the pan recess doesn't allow, I'll add the 1/2" adapter.

Did you need the adapter?

I'm very sorry......I haven't done it yet.
But my gut feeling in this case is I won't need to utilize their adapter on the Bronco 2.3L. It mirrors what the gentleman posted below.

the Fumoto F107SX drain valve works great on the 2.3L engine, no adapter needed.

Can confirm. Mine works flawlessly, pointed a bit forward before fully seating it. I also have some Tygon fuel line zip tied to it and capped off. It rests in a coil on the Badlands stock skid plate and allows me to drain the oil and filter without moving the pan. Technically, the best use of this setup is to let the pan drain longer while I remove the filter without having two oil drain pans.

I'll try to find a pic, but I may forget... again. 😁

Hi, does anyone know if the same Fumoto valve will work with the updated 2.3L for 2025?

Thanks,
Andrew

Anyone here install the F107SX and had luck with the 2.3L Bronco?
In the older 2.3 - works fine.

Not sure if the newer 2.3 changes anything.

*edit* Bah - necro thread gets me again. Sorry
