Interesting takes on this topic. I only buy new when there are steep discounts. When discounts are offered on new, that value trickles down to the used market as well. Here in Georgia, I see used Broncos on dealer lots for the same money as similar new Broncos. When supply exceeds demand, it is a poor decision to sell just because you want something different.

I am looking to buy a Bronco to tow behind my motorhome. I currently have a 99 Wrangler TJ, but do not want to tow it due to its age and the cost of the equipment to flat tow. I would prefer to throw that money on a new vehicle.

I went Bronco shopping a couple times this month, but IMO, the money isn't right so I am waiting.

Not sure why you would have a reaction. 90% of Broncos and Wranglers never leave the pavement. We've been to the Salt Flats, Moab, Storm Mountain, Bad Lands and are always looking to visit abandoned mining towns in the middle of nowhere. In the past we drove an F150 but some areas are not full size truck friendly, so we want a 2-door Bronco.

It’s just that flat towing a Bronco has been a big topic of discussion on this forum.

What I don’t understand is that I bought at ’24 outer banks lux package for $63k. Why wasn’t your ’23 much less?

Did not read all 10 pages of this, but up until Covid, dealers in NE at least, mostly used Galves for trade in values. They are closer to auction price and lower than the 'blue book" web sites.

They always used that number when I asked, especially on vehicles that were just run of the mill demand-wise (and Broncos are now), and might have to go to auction. Sounds like things are getting back to normal.

You need to do your due diligence regarding flat towing. While some have had no issues. Others have had their brakes engage and transmission roasted. Just reading others issues on flat towing would make me reconsider the Bronco if the main use was to tow behind an RV.

But you do you. Don't say you weren't warned.

Your funny. I am 64 years old and licensed on anything from 2 to 18 wheels. I think that I can figure out how to flat tow a Bronco.

Yeah, he’s not saying you don’t/won’t know how to. He’s warning you that many others here on this forum that also know how to flat town have had their transmissions cook themselves while being flat towed, and Ford declines to warranty.

If you are searching for a MY'24 Manual 2-Dr, it will be nearly impossible to find. Dealers aren't going to order it for the lot. Only chance is that it was a special order that the customer didn't take at delivery for whatever reason.

Most inventory is dealer ordered as the reservation wait list has been exhausted. A manual transmission isn't sought after by most buyers. Dealers aren't going to order inventory for it to sit waiting for a niche buyer.
There is a new search site that drills down on options. Visor.Vin.

I just did a nationwide search for new Broncos with manual transmission. There are 488 nationwide. Take a look, it is a fun tool.

39 of those are unicorns, 6 cylinder and manual!

That's usually the issue, no one verifies these at the dealer so one way or another you have to pull up pictures.
