Look back at post #10.
Thanks! And ordered. Using the mobile app today, threads aren’t so easy to follow this way.

My ‘24 BD 2dr is Race Red. But the grab handles and accents are blue… oddly. Color chosen at random? Or…?

The ADHD in me sure would like to swap it all out for red.
Can you give me an idea of the difficulty and expense of doing so?
Thanks!

That red and blue doesn't work.
On the other hand, my race red Heritage Edition has red-accented grab handles and it looks great.

Thanks. Which trim level came with red? Maybe I can find someone to trade with. 🤪

Or where to find part #’s and howto’s.
Replacement handles are available directly from Ford in a variety of colors, but they are not cheap. This single handle is $240. I misread the listing - $240 is for all three handles, not quite as crazy. This should get you started on where to look, though. Other vendors may have them cheaper.

I swapped in the race red handles because the Badlands accent matches with as many colors as it rhymes with and it's just a marketeers gone mad episode. Current marketing color theory says that orange is for active outdoorsy people, so that's why they slapped it on the Badlands. Ford should've thought ahead and had a full compliment of interchangeable color parts and raked in the dough. Alas, the stitching accent (pronounced with two soft c's) was more important and giving customers choice would've threatened their power?

TL;DR
Red handles look great, BDUSA can make race red vent clips but the "red" when I bought my first set was the Braptor Code Orange/Red, but the race red they made me looks great.

What is the current marketing strategy for grabber blue handles on the Black Diamond?

Nah, you guys go ahead, I was just being an arse.

I already have the aftermarket replacement knobs on the way, I think my best option is to buy the handle set on eBay from one of the discounters, and then re-sell my entire blue set. That way my vehicle isn’t apart long.

I have a new blue Big Bend with the gray handles (not red, but better than blue). I'd trade for the blue ones...
