Why does your poor doggy have the "cone of shame" on? Recent surgery?
Haha, good observation. Tucker had a “hot spot” and we cone him when he gets those so it’ll heal. He’s not happy when he has that on.

My pooch hated the cone of shame when he had to wear it. Dogs don't understand it. They think they are being punished...

I have a seatcover for the front seat, harness that attaches to the buckled seatbelt. Made a custom raised bar for the tube doors so that his center of gravity is below the rail (it is not with standard door and worse with tube door. And a summit racing race net on bottom - just in case.

Killer is special.and need special treatment. This raises him to the edge of the window so he can see outside even when lying down. Note the personal fan he also has going on back there. To keep him cool.

He also has eye protection for when he sticks his dead out the window. Yeah, I have no life...

Sad thing is I have to ask where you got the personal fan from. Our Cavapoo want's one now.

2dr hardtop, 55lb mutt :)

I got tired of having to wash the cloth covers and never having the hair come off them. So, I recently made my own setup with a tarp, some zip ties, a few adjustable bungee cords, a couple Velcro straps, and carabiners. Most things I had or got at Walmart/Amazon. The tarp is 6x6. If you can find a 5x6 that’s probably be better. It’s heavy duty (14mil) and stands up well/holds its shape on its own. For folding the corners, I secured them with zip ties. That’s what gives it the current shape. I have at least a foot tucked under the side that touches the tailgate. But I knew I wanted something big enough to go up the sides of the back. I do leave the last set of holes unlatched because it’s easier to fold the tarp up towards the front, without disconnecting anything - if I’m grabbing groceries and don’t want them in the dog hair zone.

I also have the rockworxs thumb screws for the top, so that’s what I connect it to in the back. Under the tarp, I have two baby dog beds I bought years back to even out the level of the trunk to match the height of the folded seats. Then I cover that and the seats with the $3 fleece blankets from Walmart. This is to protect the carpet as much as I can from white dog hair.

It is a bit slippery with just the tarp, so I’ve been putting another one of those fleece blankets on top of it as well. Gives traction and helps collect some of the dog hair like a filter ha.

Now I can wipe or remove the tarp and be ready to go. Little cleanup required.

I have a full cover for the backseat that has rubber grip on the underside so it doesn't slide around. Lily wears a harness that has a seatbelt clip to it so she can't either go too far out the window or go too far in case of a crash. I will never put her in my front seat again after she went flying onto the floor when I had a quick stop and nor do I love the idea of the cargo area. Backseat is hers!

I made a platform to fill the gap between the middle of the back seat and the center console

I bought a bunch of foam from a craft store and glued it together. From there I took measurements and then drew on the foam with a marker to pinpoint where I would cut. I then used a carving knife to cut the foam to shape and then covered it in the heaviest duty duct tape I could fine. Our dog loves it and I can pop it in and out with ease.
