Does anyone have pictures of Jerry rigging a tarp for the sake of shade or rain cover while camping with a soft top?
I know you "shouldn't" close your soft top with things sticking out so you don't wear down the weather stripping, but a tarp is pretty thin.
What I'm thinking is opening the soft top, attaching 2 corners of a tarp to somewhere on the roll bar with small hooks (similar to how a bimini top hooks on). Then pull the other end of the tarp outside and close the soft top on the tarp. From there the two corners of the tarp on the outside could be staked to the ground, leaving enough room for one or two people to sit under it in camping chairs.
Just a thought. Hopefully I explained my thought well enough for people to get the gist.
Icing on the cake would be to be able to roll it up and Velcro it down under the soft top so it would always be there.
