S&B Cold Air Intake Updated Air Box

Hello Folks! In the past I commented on some posts about the S&B CAI and how the lid consistently pops off. Well I spoke to S&B today at Sema about the issue with the lid popping off. They said they changed the thickness of the material the lid connects to, correcting the issue. @512braptor has an updated version going in soon and can update on the fitment!

they sold me a new airbox and lid, should have it soon to compare.

Curious if anyone has independently tested this airbox or any other airbox o, swapping them while strapped to a dynamometer?

can confirm the new box and lid have a super tight seal, once its pressed in properly,
need the new box, new seal and acrylic piece.
