Would love to hear more. I’ve been hearing the same story about the DME in my M2c for 3 years. I’m not interested in needing to remove parts to ship or go to a tuner that’s 10 states away. When we can OBD style tune these from a laptop or my phone, I’ll be a believer in all the “Coming soon!”...

You can order a replacement key from the vendor. You’ll need to know the manufacturer and key number. I had to overnight a key from McGard once and since you’re in no rush this is the best method outside of locating the lost key...
Any pictures of the damaged light(s)? 5+ pages in and not a single picture of potential damage on a light that has since been removed.
Typically an electrical issue like this would have visible damage.
