What's your most under-used feature?

The start stop feature hands down.
I’ve intentionally used every feature on my Bronco At least once.
I’ve never used start stop.
What a waste of money, I‘ve read it is the second most pushed button in a motor vehicle.

The trail cruise control is really handy coming down really steep trails in the mountains with no features, but still requires slow going. Just set and forget rather than ride your brakes with your foot for 30 minutes

Yes, then the trail cruise control rides your brakes for you. That's why I bought a manual.

ECO mode. I have a manual, so all it does is soften throttle response. I can do that without a computer "helping" me. I can see it might be useful for someone who has an automatic since it also changes shift points.

The online digital Owner's Manual. Absolutely useless. It's either vague or explains the obvious. For example, after I took delivery of my Bronco, I wanted to know how to turn on the 360 camera. The manual said it was a button on my dashboard. It did not tell me where on the dashboard.

I bought a printed Owner's Manual and also have as a pdf file. Both are much more useful.

An online manual is a good idea. But Ford's implementation of it is a waste. It's not comprehensive for one. And many entries are generic and apply to any Ford.

Yes, then the trail cruise control rides your brakes for you. That's why I bought a manual.

If it’s really steep you’re still riding your brakes with a manual unless you’re in 4L. You can shift down and up with a automatic transmission as well.

I know. I've descended 40% slopes. An automatic won't give adequate engine braking even when in 4L when on such a slope. I know because I've been there.

What I’m saying is your’re still riding your brakes in with a manual transmission in 1st on very steep grades in 4H. This is my first automatic in 15-20 year, I know how it is. If it’s steep with a manual, you can go 4L and 1st gear with no brakes. You can essentially do the same with a manual by shifting the transmission to 1st+4L. Both options are great. This is not a debate between manual/automatic transmission. I was just commenting on an occasion when I used a factory feature. Thanks for your input though.

I don't use 4H for steep grades, never have, never will. You should use the same gear descending a hill that you used to climb it.

One of the Bronco's curiosities: why doesn't the two-door have this? I probably wouldn't use it, but it struck me as strange that this most generic thing would be model-specific.

If traffic is so heavy that there is constantly traffic in your way, you probably shouldn't be using cruise control.

Fortunately, mine isn't adaptive. My wife's car has adaptic cc...for me it
s dangerous. I'm sure I could massge it but it's the wife's car so I don't mess with it,
I agree that in traffic, it shouldn't even be considered. For heavy stop and go, one of the few times I think an autonomous self-driving vehicle would be useful. I have a friend with a Tesla and he feels it really shines in the stop&go full self-driving mode....he can keep his tesla, I'll give him a ride in my Bronco when his battery dies.

Ha ha, usually when we are having the most fun is when the SOS icon is at the top of the phone.

I own all of my music rather than stream it, so I typically have about a thousand or so of my favorite songs available to listen to. It's the triple bonus of not having to pay for one or more streaming services, not having to listen to commercials and only hearing songs I like.

BTW, for those who own their own music, I highly recommend creating a smart playlist with rules similar to this:

Last Played is not within the last 12 months
Media Kind is Music
Rating is greater than
And a set of rules of either: "Genre contains" or "Genre does not contain"

to weed out categories like Christmas music or other genres you may not want, or to only include specific categories you want.

What you end up with is a list of songs you love to hear but haven't heard in a while. Play that on shuffle mode and it's like being rewarded with only great songs you forgot about.

how do u create a smart playlist? I have a bout a thousand songs I have on a usb drive That my bronco can play and several playlist… but a smart playlist?

It's too bad there isn't a feasible way to tap into the power of the rear wiper. It's not like the two would be used at the same time and I'm sure the LEDs don't draw any more current. That would have been more elegant than running a wire to the cigarette lighter adapter on the passenger side. But obviously, the rear wiper is only getting power when the switch is activated.

i hard wired mine directly into the back of the lighter plug adapter in the cargo area.
