those came out great I have been wondering about chroming SAS wheels to get that old school mag wheel look - not sure if anyone has done that, but yours are making me think it might look pretty good

What was your inspiration/reasoning for doing this to your Area 51 Bronco?

I've liked bronze wheels for quite awhile, and really like the design of the sasquatch wheels. Plus the gloss black was a pain to keep clean and they were getting swirly. They hide everything now and look great to me. I originally ordered am eruption green wildtrak, and I think bronze wheels look great with that color. Now only if I could snag a shelter Green raptor!

I was genuinely disappointed by how far away from "Lego grey" ("light bluish grey", for any Lego afficionados out there) the Everglades wheels were. They looked so much lighter to me on the Ford website, and I was looking forward to driving around in my new modular toy that looked kind of like it could have been built out of my favorite modular toy. But In real life, it turns out "carbonized grey" wheels are preeetty well color matched to dusty black Goodyear rubber. just shinier, sometimes. I have thought seriously about having them painted.

The powder coat is named Triple Bronze. I wouldn’t call it metallic

I thought I would post pictures of my bronze Method 703 0 offset with 35” Kenda Klever and then my OEM non-SAS BL rims that I had powder coated. They have the OEM 33” KO2s.
I think the bronze OEM rims are more subtle and don’t pop as much as the Method’s but I like them both.

Chiming in to add you deserve the praise for this IMO. What looks good in samples can often be the opposite on the whole wheel That color looks terrific with Area 51. Great job.
