Has anyone, added a sub to mobridge? Im trying to add a Jd/1000 to power a 13tw5.

I'm trying to identify the connectors MObridge uses to connect the power and ground. They look like headphones jacks.

Shoot me a PM and I'll give you the part number.

Has anyone used Alpine S-Series speakers with this amp?

I replaced all of the speakers (except the sub, that's a Kicker CompC) with Alpine S-Series running off the stock amp currently.

Wondering if these speakers would pair well with this amp/DSP?

Our amp will pair up with them nicely, we have more than enough power to drive them.
Keep in mind that the DSP in the amp is fully adjustable so in theory there is no such thing as speakers that wont pair up well with the amp after a bit of adjustment!

We do not have a pre done tune for them currently though

I'll have a stock + jl stealth box calibration file available in the next couple days.
Just installed the Mobridge amp and stealth box, would appreciate the tune if you still have it, thanks!

also — would appreciate help on wiring — which wires from the amp connect to the jacks on the stealth box? Did you have to cut off a connector from the mobridge harness? I see a red/black pair from the amp that terminates into a black connector that fits a factory plug. Thinking i need to snip that off and solder on an rca cable?

Email Fraser @mObridge and he can send the tune file for your setup.

I talked to him about how best to wire the JL Stealthbox, he said to snip from their main harness and solder the 2 pink wires together and the 2 pink/silver wires together. I soldered these to some 14/2 CL2 speaker wire I had and put RCA plugs in them. Worked great!

Make sure you flash the firmware first thing! Mine wasn’t and it didn’t sound great, but the firmware flash made it sound amazing…the I installed the tune and made it sound a bit better even.

My Pinout is different — did you have this connector with red/black wires that connects to a factory plug?

Can’t tell but looks like these wires might be jumped to the other red and black with silver pair, inside the taped harness.

Trying to avoid dissecting it unless necessary

They are bridged internally.

Do not mess with the separate power connector. That's not speaker wiring.

The wires you want for the sub are the two pink and two pink/silver.

Just did this whole install recently!

The Pinout paper I got was incorrect as well, I spent a bunch of time looking for wires that weren't there. The new build harnesses use the pink/pink+silver for the sub wires.

Correct, I got an updated sheet with the pink wires, per my post, and Frazer updated it on the site as the old one was still there.

@DrunkevAviator is correct, that's the wrong plug you're showing with the red/black wires...don't mess with that.

You have to unwind the felt tape from their main plug, with the other speaker wires coming out of it, then snip and use the pink wires mentioned for the sub. It's done that way so someone can simply connect and use the factory plug/sub setup easily. However, I didn't want to butcher the factory plug/harness, and connect my sub wires off there, so I snipped those pink/pink silver wires from their harness to use those like I mentioned. I left enough of a wire stub coming out the back of the connector, just in case I wanted to reconnect to their plug in the future for some odd reason...

What I did was snipped them, then twisted them together with the new sub speaker wire to make sure everything worked properly. I even swapped them, just to make sure, and what Fraser mentioned (and what I mentioned above) was exactly correct. I then soldered them up...

Hey all!

We are looking for someone who has videography experience to help us shoot a install video!
We will post you out a kit, you install it and video it and we will handle the rest.
For Payment we will work out a screaming deal on the amp kit!

Is anyone interested in shooting a video for us that has a B&O bronco?

@RagnarKon I wish you had a B&O Bronco, your installs are exactly what we are looking for!

Now accepting Bronco donations! I'll even gladly pay full price for the mObridge kit!

I appreciate that, those were my first videos before I knew what the heck I was doing. Made them largely because I found I was repeating myself on the forum, and the video helped show what I was talking about. I wish I could redo them cause they are rough in spots, but try as I might I can't justify a second Bronco. (Might still redo a few of them anyway, we'll see.)

I was trying to find someone to work with nearby who had a B&O Bronco because I've gotten a ton of questions about it. Got close twice, but the first guy got camera shy and ended up going with an audio install shop, and the second guy just random stopped responding a week before we were supposed to meet.

If I happen to end up with a spare Bronco with B&O one day ill be sure to keep you in mind ;)

Oh wow! that would have been fantastic. Well please let me know if you find anyone willing. Maybe they will overcome their camera shyness if a discounted mObridge amp is on offer! We are happy to come to the table so just keep me posted and we can work something out.

Im sure you have already considered an ACM swap. I would also love a video on this too! PM if interested and we can work something out.

I’ve got a lot of pics from my install, not enough to string together an install vid though. Too bad this ask didn’t come up a couple months ago, I’d have been more thorough! 🤣 @RagnarKon has some great vids for sure!
