What was the reply? I just emailed Fabian for a status, but will try IG if I do t hear by tomorrow. He’s always been very responsive, slightly more so on IG.

Also I saw a couple installs that didnt appear to be influencers as well.

I will find out more today I hope, I messaged late at night last night, so hopefully something today when they are on the clock

Well, I will say that when we get our tops we know they will be right. A lot of work went into these, so delays aside, I feel we will receive a very quality product that will last the life of the vehicle.

I just got an update from Fabian, note my order #289 placed 7/10/24:


“Hey Chris! You’re still a good 6-8 weeks out (over estimating).

Trying to do our best to speed things up. Basically with the first run of Slantbacks we learned a lot and made those changes to the squarebacks before starting full production on them. Nothing major, just little things to make production easier, faster, cleaner welds and easier access to certain areas as well as flow for production. I do apologize for the long wait, we’ve just been trying to do our best to keep up with everything going on.”

The slant on the Square back is to pay homage to the slant on the original 1st gen hardtop. It follows the body lines and the gradual slant to the body
