I received my credit from the credit card dispute and the dispute is closed. I have to say I was pretty surprised to be able to dispute a charge from almost 2 years ago. The credit card company initially called me to let me know they normally don't go past 1 year but once we talked thru the documentation I uploaded they agreed to give it a try. A week or two later the disputed was "closed" and my account was credited. Now I have an order placed for the Anderson Composites Hardtop.

That's great! I can see the need for normally limiting the time frame, but in this situation since you can prove you never received anything it's great that they'll extend it.

Companies like American Express or Bank of America would take care of you. They value your membership and know they can either eat that charge or get their money back from the company.

Yeah about 50 pages ago or so. Some shady couple from Upstate NY filed a lawsuit against them. This couple also appears to sue anything with a pulse. So who knows.

Not answering the phone, no response to e-mail/ DM, getting blocked. I would say it is not long before ADV is not ADV anymore.

Well they did steal money by not refunding their customers. Serves them right and hopefully Justice prevails.

American Express is the only one i use for large purchases. They value your membership, and absolutely go the extra mile for you.

I have ran probably north of $100k through my amex over the last 4 years for business purposes. last year, i started having odd charges pop up after swiping to get gas, and before I could check, they were blasting me with phone calls asking if there was some way i teleported from Arkansas to Springfield Ohio.

Great sense of humor on the agent's part, let me finish filling up with gas, cancelled my card, blocked all the charges that just popped, and had me a new card next day.
