Does this sound normal to you?? It sounds like air sucking sound on and off while idle.

Could it be the pcv valve being cycled? These engines are noisy so it doesn't really sound abnormal.

Yeah I agree they are noisy . I have always heard a weird ticking sound over 40mph and the dealer said it was the tires

My 2.7L does not make that noise, that's really loud for normal engine noise.

I cant get it to play smoothly, but I THOUGHT I heard a random buzzy sound happening intermittently.

If that’s what you are talking about, mine does it also.

I posted about it last fall and Ford actually came back with the answer.

It’s plastic check ball vibrating in the idle air control system and is considered normal operating noises

Not able to help on your engine sound.

I had a speed related ticking noise, it started around 35 mph. It was a wheel balancing weight. The dealer replaced it with a different type of weight.

Took them forever to figure it out! They had a Bronco almost identical to mine on the lift (engine pulled for cam phaser replacement (something they had previously done on mine)) with it's wheels off. They completely swapped those wheels onto mine to confirm the wheels/ tires as the problem. Then put my wheels back on 1 by 1 until they found the culprit.
