Where did you read that?!?!?! The boost bar is SOOO SIMPLE to install. It attaches to your license plates existing bolts and then you just run the wire up over to the tail light and plug it right into the tail light. The Morimoto Tail Light has a connector hanging off it for the boost bar. SO SIMPLE to do. You don't need to remove the bumper at all!

On my F150 i ran the wire behind the license plate actually and then behind the bumper over to the tail light. Bring it up from behind/under the tail light. EASY PEAZY

Yeah you don't have to do that. Just route the wire straight above the license plate where i've drawn in red. YES you'll see the wire. You can also probably just drill without removing the bumper if you double check there are no wires behind the area that you may hit.

That’s what I was thinking regarding the drilling thru without removal. Just got to find the way to run it up to behind the tail light.

Happy with my new Morimoto LED Taillights from @4x4TruckLEDs.com.
Install was easy and the new tails fit perfectly. I didn’t need to use the included resistors where I already had LED factory lights.
I’ve included a few pics from my Wildtrak install showing both factory and Morimoto tails

I like how they retain that factory look but are stll different and give it a nice slick look. The slimmer design doesn't just STICK out like the factory ones did.

Here’s my test video. The turn signal looks odd in the video, but it’s fine in real life. Don't have the OEM LED, but I guess it's brighter.

Would love to see pics of the smoked taillights on a shadow black Bronco, or maybe I'll just order... A quick copy/paste I did makes me want to get the red ones, it's almost too dark.
