One? 🤣 ;)

I've got tools that were my dad's, my grandfather's and my uncle's that are lying in wait for the day to be called into action.
And when that day comes, I'm usually in Home Depot buying a new tool that wouldn't give you tetanus from just looking at it.
Yes, but he did stipulate that it must be a one for one swap!!!

I also have an electric ratchet for removing the top. Thought about getting the thumb screws at first but I have arthritis in my hands. The ratchet works great. Sucks to get old.

I also agree. I love mine and it was extremely handy on my new muffler and frame mounted Rhino Dss steps.

Sounds good as long as the right angle drill doesn't accidentally over tighten the hardtop bolts. And yes I also smacked the glass first time using the OEM rachet.

By the way is there any official tightness recommendation for the hardtop bolts? I tend to under tighten them, not wanting to crack anything.

I need to get one of those stupid things. But like the impact, gonna wait until we’re mostly done with the build though because I’m stubborn. šŸ˜‚

Checked mine when I got home from the dealer thinking that over torqued may be partially a reason for the tops cracking. The ledge was slightly deformed but the bolts not too tight. Just a real crappy design.

The bottom rail of the mic top is super thin. You have to be careful even with the Rockworx bolts as they are easy to over tighten with just your thumbs. Don't know what Ford was thinking with that thin of a bottom rail . SMH

Ok thanks. I didn’t know these screws could lock tightly by hand.

Completely agree. Needs to be at the least double the thickness. Or some kind of stiffener molded inside.
