Got the top off yesterday. I don't know about this little pulley system. Feels pretty sketch to me. Might end up investing in a top jack or something.

Just look and find ideas so many different looks and options. My first was weathertech mats and mud flaps to protect the paint wheels tires taillights side steps

I've been pondering on the taillights for quite some time now lol.

First priority - Mud Flaps. Get good ones. My preference is for Weathertech. Great fit and great look. You won't have to look to far to find comments about how the Goodyear tires notoriously pick up stones and ding up the sides.

Nice Bronco, but your photo reminds me, I've got to remove/cover up those crummy looking decals on the driver visor, lol.

Be careful, I've read about some failed peel attempts at removal on the forum, using heat/solvent that messed up the visors. So I might go with some dark sticker/vinyl overlays to cover up instead, haven't decided yet.

There’s been some damage trying to remove those. Stickerfab has some decals that cover them and look great. Excellent match or I got Flag ones.

Anyone have any experience with the DD headlights? I just really like the way the factory headlights look... but they leave a lot to be desired as far as light output.

Alright, we had our first "long" road trip in the Bronco. Got a few things I want to tackle now.

Ordered a rubber mat for the rear. Errthang sliding around back there.

So I still stand behind the fact that the 10 speaker system is night and day better than the 7 speaker -BUT, sitting in the front seats, it feels like all the audio is coming from the windshield.

I do plan on upgrading the entire audio system in due time, but is there something you guys recommend in the meantime to kind of... even out the output a little?

The more we drive this thing, the better fuel mileage we seem to get. AVG is getting upwards of near 18, and we were in the 21ish MPG on the interstate. Not too bad if you ask me.

Other than that, everything was great. The Bronco was super comfortable and did everything we could have hoped for.

To say we have loved it so far is an understatement. We're averaging like... 100 miles a day since ownership through the first 18 days. We gotta slow down a little haha.

Well, I've been tied up for a bit. Haven't had a chance to really do anymore modifications.

But, on another note - The Bronco made it 4,477 miles before busting the windshield.

Geez man. The rock hit 1/4" above the plastic that runs under the windshield wipers. I was 1/4" away from dodging a bullet.

What have you guys paid for windshield replacements? I'm definitely going to look at protective options or something.

For the record, I was in the left hand lane on the interstate, and an 18-wheeler swerved into my lane and threw what had to be a very small rock, and that's all it took. Over the course of our roadtrip is has spread about another 4 inches from where it started originally.

After you replace the windshield, I will totally recommend ExoShield for protecting it.
