Does the plastic hold up to window decals? Sorry if that’s a stupid question. Didn’t want to f*ck up my new bronco making an assumptions.

I wouldn't do it. No sticker lasts forever, and trying to get an old sticker off the window would like scratch the hell out of it. Just my opinion, though.

There was an entry on here a while back. The brother in law pasted a joke bumper sticker and the poster had to get a replacement Window panel from Ford. An expensive joke. So the real answer is…keep ‘em clean.

Yeah the plastic has to fold up a bit when you lift the rear hatch so I don’t think a sticker would be a great idea. I mean I’m sure there are people out there that will do it though

I wouldn't. As the sticker ages it'll fade and get brittle and the adhesive seems to leach into the plastic and bakes in so it won't come off without leaving damage.

Thank you everyone for the heads up. Question though-- so after reading the replies I rushed out and took the temp paper plate that the dealership taped to the inside of my back window and lo and behold- residue. How you suggest I hang the temp plate till my real ones come in? Can't seem to get anything to stick to the liner and don't want to put anything on the pvc windows. :( (I knew I should have pushed for a hard top, sigh.)

Put your temporary plate on the spare tire. Maybe back it with cardboard and zip tie it to the spokes.

You could also use a stapler there as well... lol.

I'm not sure how your State temp tags are but will it not mount in the rear license plate location?

As for the residue ... if the dealer put it on your rear plastic window then you're back to all the hints/tricks that others posted to try and remove it without causing any damage ... honestly I'd take it back to the dealer and have them attempt to remove it or worse case to order you a replacement.

Never ever no not ever a sticker on softtop windows. Cannot be removed.

But the softtop is worth it! Have fun. Get it down!

So tried my damndest to get the adhesive off the inside window from where the dealership taped the temp plate. Got most of the adhesive off but tape adhesive + heat warped the pvc and now I have an ugly line that I can see whenever I look at the back end of my bronco. Contacted dealership and they said there’s nothing they can do about it. Frustrated.
