Thoughts on these Mesh Soft Top windows?

If I remember correctly on the installation guide, you have to take the OEM corner brackets off the soft top and then install them on the back mesh window for it to work.

I don't think those are readily detachable from the rear window, no?

I found these mesh windows and thought they would be perfect for car camping in the PNW.

Has anyone bought these yet? Thoughts?

I think I'll buy some of those. Cheap. Probably even help keep some rain out.
I love running my soft top with the windows off the rear but water and dust suck.

I bet these allow the rear hatch to lift easier since your not having to almost crease the plastic side windows. I still wonder daily WTF ford was thinking when they thought this stupid design of the rear hatch was a good idea.

Yikes. I think I'd try and see if I can't buy those plastic pillars from a dealer, as the tabs that hold the window in place are small and rather fragile. Many people have busted those without even trying to install a mesh window in its place.

Nice! Let me know what you think. We haven't installed ours yet but probably will tomorrow. Just a note on the back window you have to use the OEM corner pieces to install it. Kind of a bummer but the price is so good. I'll probably end up just using the side ones.

Did you install yet? Any thoughts? Any coupon codes from the manufacturer on these?

Hate to necro the thread but..... did anybody ever get a set of these?

I found the mesh windows separate from this forum post, saw they were in stock, and put an order in w/ optional 2 day shipping so they'd show up in time for a car camping trip I'm taking next week. Only after I ordered did I receive the email that they're actually out of stock. Decided to check here and can't find any in posts with them actually on someone's ride.

Trying to figure out if these screens are vaporware and I should cancel the order, or if people have actually received them and they're halfway decent.

Thanks for posting, I’m gonna pick up a set. I was going to find a used set of windows from a soft top and have a local shop replace the plastic windows with sewn in mesh panels.

I never got my set and I got a refund eventually.

I ended up going the same route and got the order cancelled and refunded. I was told they were "backordered until October, however they can't guarantee that date would reflect the actual date when the manufacturer would restock them."

How are they, and do you have any photos? I'd definitely consider them at some point down the road if they are halfway decent.
