Here I was going to help winch a Jeep up an obstacle and I ended up breaking my driver side headlight and grill. I never drive in that direction. About 1 minute into the video:

Oh well. I got to install new "Raptor" headlights and grill.

Little navigational error led to passenger side of capable bumper bent slightly up and back. Winch saved me from a rollover.

Pretty minor trail damage. Two creased front fenders and some minor dents in the window frame.

Totally my fault for not rechecking the torque on re-used locknuts. Lost the top ball joint nut on Imogene pass. Took out the inner cv and bottom ball joint.

I heard a small intermittent clunk the day before and checked everything visually the next morning but didn’t put a wrench on anything. I had grabbed the cv shaft and felt some normal end play and assumed that was what I was hearing. Here’s a video taken about 5 minutes before it came apart.

Minor- chips on the doors and rockers from stones being thrown from the stock Goodyear Sas tires. I touched each one up with a precision brush. And one chip on the windshield that was able to be repaired by safelite. But we have only done minor 4 wheeling down easy dirt roads and trails. Nothing major.

Poison Spider in Moab stole my license plate and the entire plastic bracket off the bottom of my factory steel bumper. Worst place in the world to put that bracket IMO. Stupid engineers...

Anyway... it gave me the excuse I needed to get the DV8 spec series rear bumper and license plate relocation bracket. It looks great and has already been tested on Calamity Canyon in Delta. Did a phenomenal job and held up the way a steel bumper is supposed to.

Where do I start ? Pinstripes from Hey Joe trail. Tail gate crease from steel bender. And my poor skids from bad decisions.

Trail Tip - Always fold your side mirrors in before going off road. Saves them getting scratched or ripped off!

Souvenir from Cliff Hanger. Small dent & scuffed paint in rear door. Not too bad. Still going back & forth between leaving the badge of honor or fixing it
