Hoping someone can tell me what the hell I did to my baby!!

I’m gifted in the electronics department so I decided to give this a shot. So for an overview, I have a 2023 wildtrax with a working sub and amp. non-BO system.

I purchased all kicker speakers and replaced the pod speakers first with 6.5. That was easy enough and everything was working fine. A few days later, I went in and replaced the amp with the kicker key 500. Which required an eight gauge wire that I ran from the battery and grounded the same spot the factory amp was grounded. Everything went as planned. Next, this is where my problems started, I installed the front door speakers, and – and powered all other speakers, excluding my sub with the kicker key 200 installed under the steering column. I purchased the plug-in play kit harness, and The power wire because it would not reach my battery and also had to extend the ground wire because everything seems to be painted in this bronco and wanted to make sure it was a solid ground so I went to the engine and grounded. I forgot to say that I went in and did the forescan settings for the back sub and amp prior to installing any of my front speakers. So after everything was installed, everything worked great. I did all of my set up settings with both amps and it was getting dark so I did not put on my panels till the next morning and when I turned on my car, I noticed all of my sensors going crazy, and I’ve lost all power to my back Sub and amp.

I ran the forescan settings again and I’m getting that there is no communication with module a. Everything still functions fine except my screen and my outside mirror lights come on for about five seconds every five minutes or so I even took the plug-in harness out and hooked everything back up to factory and it still is having these crazy alerts.

That’s what it says in FORScan.
“No communication with Module A”

the seatbelts sensor isn’t working
Says my trunk is open
Etc
Strange. The FORScan changes you made were to the ACM, I assume? That module has nothing to do with the symptoms you're describing. Send me your VIN.

I don’t think it happened with forescan.
After I turned off the car…. Over night… something changed. It was after installing the key200.1.

I thought maybe I hit something after I took out the ac unit to access the wiring for the plug and play

And I lost all power to the rear amp and sub at the same time. I only made changes to the ACM, yes.

Yea, I don't think this has anything to do with the FORScan changes. Your truck is spitting out all kinds of lost comms codes between different modules. This may be impossible to diagnose remotely, but maybe I can give you an idea where to start. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

So you're saying FORScan cannot communicate with the truck at all?

Thank you so much for taking the time to help.
I can still connect with forescan. That wasn’t affected at all.

Ok, so when you said "no communication with module A", what were you trying to do when you got that message?

Also, the codes your truck is reporting to the cloud may not be all of the codes it is reporting. If you can, plug it up to FORScan again and send me all the codes it is recording via PM. Tomorrow is fine if you can't get to it tonight.

Yes, I will tomorrow. I was just trying to see if FORScan would give me better info on where to start to fix this problem.

Don't bother with the FORScan codes. It's like I mentioned yesterday: This would be very difficult to diagnose remotely. The only thing we can think of, is send me the link to or the instructions to the plug & play kit you used so we can see what it requires in terms of install to see if that provides a clue. Otherwise, you'll have to trace your steps on everything you did to see if there is a loose or unplugged connector somewhere, or a pinched or damaged wire. I know you mentioned you put everything back to stock already, but obviously, something is not how it used to be.

I agree. I’m going to check the fuses under the steering wheel. Possibly 32

Just a Quick Look through your DTCs, I’m betting Ground 301 is off or loose. It is at the right rear corner of the truck under the top of the trim panel. You would have been in there for the amp and subwoofer. The ground is for the seat track position sensor, the occupant classification sensor, the parking aid module, the blind spot sensors, the center brake light. You have DTCs for all of them. There are other DTCs not related to the ground, I’ll have to look at them later.
