Hoping someone can tell me what the hell I did to my baby!!
I’m gifted in the electronics department so I decided to give this a shot. So for an overview, I have a 2023 wildtrax with a working sub and amp. non-BO system.
I purchased all kicker speakers and replaced the pod speakers first with 6.5. That was easy enough and everything was working fine. A few days later, I went in and replaced the amp with the kicker key 500. Which required an eight gauge wire that I ran from the battery and grounded the same spot the factory amp was grounded. Everything went as planned. Next, this is where my problems started, I installed the front door speakers, and – and powered all other speakers, excluding my sub with the kicker key 200 installed under the steering column. I purchased the plug-in play kit harness, and The power wire because it would not reach my battery and also had to extend the ground wire because everything seems to be painted in this bronco and wanted to make sure it was a solid ground so I went to the engine and grounded. I forgot to say that I went in and did the forescan settings for the back sub and amp prior to installing any of my front speakers. So after everything was installed, everything worked great. I did all of my set up settings with both amps and it was getting dark so I did not put on my panels till the next morning and when I turned on my car, I noticed all of my sensors going crazy, and I’ve lost all power to my back Sub and amp.
I ran the forescan settings again and I’m getting that there is no communication with module a. Everything still functions fine except my screen and my outside mirror lights come on for about five seconds every five minutes or so I even took the plug-in harness out and hooked everything back up to factory and it still is having these crazy alerts.
help!!!!
