As you said, it isnt meant to replace a longer duty cycle/heavier duty compressor. I could see me reaching for it to top off the wife's tires occasionally instead of poppong the hood, dragging out the compressor bag, attaching to the battery, etc. (the reason I'm looking hard at an onboard ARB). Just throw it in her trunk bag and she can top them off instead of calling me in a panic because her tire sensor is going off (not that I mind at all, that's my job)

Have you tried to see if the USB-C is actually an output (will it charge a device)?

I've topped off lots of people's tires with my compressor, one more reason I prefer mine if I'm doing the job.

I sort of, almost kind of can see throwing one in my wife's car thinking she could use it in an emergency. But if she was out somewhere and it was a little low, she'd drive home anyway and have me do it. And if it was flat, it's not going to fix the problem, and she's not plugging a tire, even though I showed her how.

So we're back to - it makes no sense.

Im not sure on the usb c I never tried to charge from it.
The instructions say it will (I received mine this weekend).

It's fairly compact for what it is and has a great storage case. I already have Viairs in my and my wife's other vehicles for emergencies, and I like the handiness of this Wolfbox for emergencies and seasonal adjustments. I don't screw around with tires often enough to justify spending the coin on an ARB.

It would be nice if they included a USB-A to C cable. They include a cigarette lighter charging cable and a short C to C cable, but all my wall chargers take USB-As.

I don’t know why I got banned but I’m back now. Maybe some mod hit the wrong button.
I can't recall seeing anyone come back from a banning. All hail Bronco Lazarus!

$100 seems a little steep for this when a Trickflate is the same price.

My Ryobi inflator from Home Depot does my stock tires from 25 to 35 lbs in about 4 minutes. Did all four tires easliy on a single battery that I already had. Shows the pressure and stops at the set point. Only $40 so I bought a second one to cut the time in half using a second battery I already have. Also bring along my Ryobi reciprocating saw with a 12” green wood blade to cut trees out of the road. Also in my go bag is a battery charger I can plug into the 110 outlet in case I need to recharge.

I bought Makita's cordless air compressor (since I'm on that 18V LXT platform) and use it frequently for bike and lawn mower tires.
For vehicle tires, they say:
Duty cycle - 10 minutes On / 5 minutes Off
"After using the tool for 10 minutes continuously, stop using the tool for 5 minutes for cooling down."

I think it’s usb c to usb c because that’s the fastest way current can travel to charge something and it’s by using the usb c cable. I know at least for my iPhone if I use a usb-a to lightning it’s a slow charge but if it use type c to lightning it’s a fast one. Just my experience i could be wrong about it though.

Wife: hey honey, my tires are low, I need air in them
Husband: I can top them off when the inflator charges.
6 hours later...
Wife: I thought you were going to put air in my tires, have to get kids soon
Husband: grumbles
6 hours later...
Wife, I really need to pick the kids up at school, they've been there for 12 hours.
Husband: they'll survive
6 hours later....
Wife: just got a call from the school, they really want us to pick up our children.
Husband: can't they walk?
6 hours later...
Husband: tire inflator is charged
Wife: that's great, now can you come bail me out of jail, and pick the kids up at social services...

😆 lol! Guys let him completely put it through the paces before the torches comes out. Maybe the batteries need a charging cycle. I didn’t have any charging issues with the one I had. If it was sh!t I would have never posted it here.

And on a side note I’ve dealt with these people at 3w and wolfbox a few times now and they are really good people and I’m not just saying that.

Yea they seem good people.

I keep thinking I’m posting on the original thread lol. Yours and the original look very similar.

I’m eager to do what I need to do like I was supposed to today. Unfortunately it’s looking like I have to schedule a hazard pickup for this to return it. (Local shipping requires scheduling a pickup for battery returns).

Bummer.

I'm sure their jump box is great and works as expected. But that's a solid product as long as its made well.

These lightweight inflators are a completely different story.

I realize these guys are slapping their brand on items to sell, and they're probably good people trying to make an honest buck. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but I wouldn't recommend any brand of rechargeable tire inflator to anyone.

Every social media platform has advertisers for these things lately, it happens all the time with different products, a must have solution that everyone should have ...
Bla, bla, bla...
The set it and forget it chicken cooker
The blanket with sleeves
And my favorite...

I don’t know guys guess I’m missing something here. Not sure where this original thread is unless you’re talking about their giveaway post. I just did a honest review it performed as they advertised it for me. Didn’t say run out and buy it it’s going to out perform your twin arb I said the opposite.
And @popo_patty run it and waste those batteries I thought you got it to test not just bash a company. They will refund you. Standup company in my book.
