Procal was recently certified for MY24 vehicles. It doesn’t prevent you from not using premium, you just won’t get full performance without it

Disable Auto Start Stop on 2024 Bronco ?

I've read in many places in this forum that you have to run premium once you get the tune, which makes sense, otherwise Ford probably would have tuned it that way to begin with. But having no first hand knowledge this could be miss information.

I second this. First thing I did when I got the truck and works great. Is hardware so program updates are not likely to affect. Set switch on or off and it remembers with restart. Can switch at any time. Ease to install.

Thanks again for all the feedback. I'd also like to turn off the seat belt reminders so I'm thinking if the ProCal device is capable of doing both, I'd go that route as opposed to spending money on the eliminator device. Can anyone comment on ProCal device being able to disable the both A.S.S and the Seat Belt Reminders for MY 2024?
The procal won’t disable the seat belt reminder.
But there’s a way to do that without any programmer.

I had zero issue turning seatbelt reminders off on my '24 Badlands with Forscan.
Forscan was 100% worth the ~$40 I spent on it

I sure would like a hack that allows always starting in sport mode. Why should I be forced to mess with buttons/dials to have my vehicle do what I want, it's just a little aggravation I don't need.

Apparently, all the trims are able to use all the G.O.A.T. modes if you hack the computer. Someone sells something to do it, it'll void your warranty but Ford doesn't care about covering your warranty anyway. If you do hack the computer, there's an option to default to a mode you like.

I was actually able to add Baja Mode with Forscan. Also, I was able to disable the double honk. I wasn't able to disable A.S.S. or the seat belt minders though. Which is why I'm looking for alternatives. So looks like I'll be able to do the seat belt reminders without any special software or hardware using the procedure . I'll just need to buy that harness to get rid of A.S.S. and I'll be happy. Thanks!

Interesting, for some reason, it's not showing up as option for me in the "easy mode" I searched for the code referenced in the Forscan spreadsheet, none of my modules included the code #. So, I had no way of even changing anything.

I have a 24 wiltrak 4 door . I installed Procal thinking it would eliminate A.S.S. ! I called the Ford Tech line . They told me they were forced to remove the feature due to gov restrictions with emissions . The literature i had read only covered 21-23. Tried forscan as well with no luck . It works for the first couple stops and reverts back to stock set up . Im getting the eliminator . There’s a $50 difference between the amazon version and others I’ve seen . Does anyone know if theres a difference???
