Fabian contacted me, and wanted to know if I have any changes for my top, now is the time. I decided to get my top done in white, and I added the external molle panels. I am still getting the slant back.

I will be putting in my order for the Square Back soon I think. I’m feeling pretty good about how it turned out and hopefully they’ll post the update of the gull wing soon. It’s expensive, especially with the sound deadening, but appears worth it and they’re close enough I can pick it up. I’ll likely do black powder coat, though they offer a rhino-like coating now, with either tan/black or black/blue sound deadening since I have a WT w/leather.

All their vids on everyone’s feedback on the Slant Back have been excellent. Especially the updates on the updated black hinges, the headroom, weight handling and superior quietness…

Recent pics of the Square back. Note that after a several of us mentioned the square gull window shape didn’t match the site rendering, and would look better if the back edge matched the rear slant like the rendering, they are going to make that change. With their Slant Back, the back edge of the gull window also matches the slant of the back.

Can’t wait to get mine later this summer if the schedule holds. The current progress looks promising. Thanks for the update on the regarding the gullwing on the square back.

Yes, I did the interior sound deadening as well. Since I have a Badlands, I did black with orange stripes in the diamond pattern.

It's what they have been showing with it being all black.

I agree. That is my thought. With the black bits I have, especially my DV8 carrier, it will match up well. I do have another plan in progress as well........ let's see who can flush it out or has similar thoughts.

Not yet. My guess it will be sometime in July.

As I posted before, they contacted me about my order and if I wanted changes now was the time. I made the changes I wanted, so now it's just wait for the email

So in a post on their SM Fabion said they are in full production and intend to start shipping out towards the End of July. Oh we getting short!

Unpopular opinion, I actually think I liked the old gullwing dimensions better but I get why people wanted the change and am glad they listen to their customers. But team slant for sure.

I don’t know why you would want an ADV top over this. This is wayyyy better

Just as the water tight (if not better) than the OEM top. They’ve taken it through car washes and torrential Texas down pours with no problems. One of the reasons the top has been delayed is because they really wanted to make sure it was squared away with water, and from what I’ve witnessed it is

Second on @TheLawnDart statement. The latches are also adjustable, so that helps with the seal. The one video when they were caught in that storm and had to put the top on showed the difference. Inside the vehicle was sound and quiet, and there were no leaks. When they opened the door, you could really hear how the storm was raging.

So sound deadning and no leaks. Win. Win.

Those that have already ordered, what are you hearing as far as delivery dates? I'm about to pull the trigger on the SquareBack and have been talking to Fabian... It looks like 12-16 week lead time if I order now. He did mention they just got in the new laser welder, which should help speed things up though...
