Went to install the Ford OEM Splashguards & discovered the rear set don’t fit, The part number says it fits a ‘24 badlands so called Ford & gave them the part number to verify fitment. I was told there is a side note on the part number that says they don’t fit the metal bumper with plastic caps. Ford says they list a “gatorback” set for the rear. Has anyone experienced this and if so what was outcome?

A friend had a similar experience with her OB...the part number was correct for the OB but it ended up having a side note that they the fronts weren't compatible with the OEM running boards...the rears fit fine.

Yep...I had the same thing happen on my 2 Door Badlands Sasquatch...I had to send them back which wasn't a problem at all...I ended up buying "Rokblokz" and they fit perfect and actually stopped rocks from dinging up the side of my Bronco...I highly recommend them!!!

Returning shouldn’t be a prob as I used Ford Rewards Points, just annoying overall.

Dealer couldn't put those on I thought what they said was that the crash bars are in the way in the front. That said I bought some on amazon that have a cut out for the bars. Installed them myself.

Front are on and fit perfect, the rear ones however do not. I was on vacation so will deal with this week. Was hoping someone had same issue and could share how they resolved the issue.

I have an OBX and for the factory Ford flaps to fit in the front I had to move the running board back 1 inch. Then they fit perfectly. Rear fit perfectly but I believe there are 2 types of rear bumper. Just need to get the ones for your type of bumper.

I've got gatorbacks on mine, "they're pricy but worth it" IMO

(I was like, that looks like the edge of a NB license plate, and it was ;)

Absolutely, good eye 😀. Once I found out they wouldn’t fit properly I hoped for an easy solution, really don’t want to pay big money but will see….

Looks nice, I got the step bars but apparently the issue is with the steel rear bumper.

For what it's worth, if you buy them direct from the manufacturer without the bronco/ford branding, they're much cheaper (but still very expensive).

I paid $839.09 CAD incl. HST and shipping

Interesting. It will end up CDN for me but hoping to get a solution more in my budget of $200. Time will tell.

The USA Ford accessory site says the rears do not fit with the metal bumper. Not sure what brand you can buy now to sort of match the fronts?? Pretty stupid on Ford's part to not offer something 4 years in other than the grossly overpriced gatorbacks.

Fits These Vehicle
Ford Bronco 2021-2024
• Only compatible with: all plastic Rear Bumper without attached extensions (standard on Base, Big Bend and Outer Banks Series less Sasquatch package).• Not compatible with: Steel bumper with plastic end caps or all plastic bumper with attached extensions (Sasquatch package)
