I'm changing out the glass in one of my doors.

Let's say I potentially damage one of the green weather-sealing stickers. Anyone know what they are called or have a part number?

Searching the webs for any combination of green\door\weather\sticker isn't working out so hot for me.

There isn’t going to be a part number for something like that. I would just use some type of tape to cover it back up.

So many good options. I was all set to use the weatherproof tape, but now I'm gonna start getting targeted ads for pasties.

I just like to put things back the way they were, helps me sleep better. I figured they have to come from somewhere, but apparently they do not.

I don’t blame you. I did a quick look in the Ford parts catalog, but I wasn’t able to find anything in the door section.

Automotive vinyl might be a good option. Could easily cut it down to the size / shape needed, can be removed and won’t degrade as quickly as tape.

Ha, all good. Yeah I actually have the manual but "door window glass adhesive covers" doesn't exactly mean anything to google : )

They aren't just stickers - they are like a weatherproof stretchy felt material.

So if a dealer service department is doing this job and needs to replace them... they'd use what? Whatever tape is available?
