Just the usual things that Californians have to do.

Oregon has a higher vehicle theft rate than California. Portland where you live is the 5th worse metro area in the U.S. for that crime, worse than any major metro in CA Link

Better keep an eye on your Bronco, or maybe move to California where the problem isn't quite so bad as where you live. ;-)

If you leave the stereo stock you won’t have to worry about that being stolen!

I bought air tags for my keys (so expensive to replace) and the Bronco.
I heard a story where the guy tracked his stolen car from Canada to the Middle East.
Doubt that would work anymore, they changed air tags so they will start beeping after tracking for 3 days. (To prevent stalking and other nefarious activities.)
But that's enough time for me to track them down.

Wheel locks and just pray it doesn’t get broken into. Like the rest are saying if someone wants to break in, they would. it’s happening everywhere unfortunately doesn’t matter which state, town, or city you’re in

Luckily I don’t go into Portland without an armed posse. And you are 100% correct, totally sucks for the people who do live in town.

Late yesterday afternoon my wife and I were going to a particular store in Dallas. I said, let's take the Bronco, the top is off and it's about 70 outside.
Her response, isn't that where a lot of cars get stolen? Let's take my Explorer.

LOL yep Dallas is the spot to make your car disappear. I live outside of Fort Worth and anytime I have to go to Dallas I either Uber or take my girlfriend’s Jeep Compass

To review a few posts:
1) "If they want it they'll steal it." Disagree! Please check my post on page one of this thread: If you think in terms of concept (difficulty, time, visibility) you can safeguard your beloved Bronco against most (but not all) thieves.
2) Some areas are more risky than others. The cities and counties that are of greater risk than others are color-coded on maps, usually differentiated by the colors "blue" and "red." If I were more specific, well...admins and all that... Think in terms of county and not just city. However,
3) The dispersion of "asylum seekers" is beginning to skew #2.
