Just curious what off road shop hourly labor rates are in your area. I was quoted $150/hour.

That is about the average in Seattle area plus about 1.5x the hours it actually will take them to do the work.Just curious what off road shop hourly labor rates are in your area. I was quoted $150/hour.
In Albuquerque that’s the rate for mom & pop shop mechanical work. Big name shops are $185 or more.Just curious what off road shop hourly labor rates are in your area. I was quoted $150/hour.
Pretty typical rate in the SE Virginia area as well.Just curious what off road shop hourly labor rates are in your area. I was quoted $150/hour.
I am fully capable knowledge and abilities wise…not my first rodeo by a long shot. I moved here recently and don’t have any help…the bumper weighs 170 lbs. and the winch is another 70 lbs. Definitely not a solo venture. That's why you DIY, or learn to DIY! Save yourself lots of money...
Looks like a great price in your area. The shop I use in Ft. Worth charges $125/hr and is reasonable on hours. They charged 3 hours labor to install Eibach stage 2 coilovers, for example. Another local shop wanted $148/hr and 6 hours to install.
Yeah, good guys too. You pull up and there is always a row of heavily modified jeeps. The last time I was in a young guy walked in with no appointment and said he hadn’t been there before but a coworker uses them and said he was having the jeep death wobble and they took his truck right back to inspect. They don’t cater to the brodozer crowd like some other local shops.Looks like a great price in your area.
Would it happen to be an ARB Summit? If it is, you can absolutely do it solo. I did mine solo. Get creative with jack stands. The weight isn't the difficult part. The assembly and prep takes a lot of time. Working solo I have about 12 hours into mine.I am fully capable knowledge and abilities wise…not my first rodeo by a long shot. Yes indeed. An ARB Summit and a Warn Zeon 10S. I haven’t picked up the bumber yet, but did pickup the winch. Looked through ARB’s installation guide online and it looked pretty challenging for one person.Would it happen to be an ARB Summit? If it is, you can absolutely do it solo. I did mine solo.
