Was your Black Diamond Sas a 2.3 also? I'm guessing you thought 2.3 was good enough to make you order an Everglades. I've driven a 2.7 Outer Banks Sas and seemed powerful but havent driven a 2.3 yet.
Can you explain what you do when it’s “prepped for delivery”?She’s arrived!!!!! The Everglades is finally here!
I assume removing packing plastics, stickers etc.
Do you adjust door/window alignment at the dealer or is that done at the factory?
Does the dealership polish or buff out a new vehicle or just wash it?

Correct my Black Diamond was SAS/2.3 I’ve enjoyed it and have no complaints. I’ve driven plenty 2.7s on our lot and yes they’re a bit more peppy but it would not be a deal breaker for me personally

So our guys remove the shipping plastics/stickers, PDI (I still need to try and get with our guy for a list) then to clean up where we have a guy inspect the paint. (We do not check window alignment) Gaps are looked at though. Then any DIO options are installed by the service department.
I ordered my Outer Banks on 10/25/23 and never got an email or text for a build date. Now about a week ago (1/14) or so I get a text/email that it's been built so I checked and it was built on the 11th. Since we are just south of detroit in Ohio you would think it wouldn't take that long to get but it's now been over a week and it's still "awaiting shipping". Really curious to see how long it takes to actually get to the Dealer. Hopefully not a horror story like I see from others. Would like to see a late February pickup time which is another 4-6 weeks just to get past the salty roads schedules.
I’m not taking her home till tomorrow, we got to get it through PDI and clean up. My hitch has still not arrived here at the dealership yet. I’ll post more tomorrow once it’s cleaned up and ready to go!

I’m in Pa, right outside Philly, and mine arrived at the dealer yesterday (my blend date was last Friday). Not sure why mine rolled right on to a truck basically while others are waiting.
