Yeah, the subwoofer is present and puts out sound. I've been playing around with the tone settings, and it's okay. It would almost definitely suck without it.

I'd guesstimate it's between 18 - 24 inches. The rails are bolted into the body and can definitely support a person's weight. The top of it is also removable so you can still access the cubby hole and jack below.

Yeah, I think the upholstery is the same, but no back and forth movement in the headrest. Only up and down. Plenty of big red-headed cousins to go around :D
