I just got off a 5-minute chat with Ford (chat option on their website) and they gave me the railcar number and ETA at my dealer. Was able to call 800-235-2352 (CSX Rail) and through a totally automated system determine that my Bronco is in Indiana today and will be in Chicago on Wednesday. Ultimately I need it to reach the Twin Cities MN area so ETA is Jan 24-30. Blend date was 1/11.
Our cars must be on the same rail… mine says it’s in the same spot. Mine should be delivered between 1/21-1/27 to Houston.

Finally starting to put my finance hat on.. anyone have any insight on any credit unions or financing options to look into other than ford? I also thought about doing the ford flex pay option (last resort) but not sure if that would kill me in interest even if I do plan to pay it off in 3 years. Any thought or comments would be greatly appreciated!
If your plan is to pay it off in 36 months Ford Credit might be your best option actually.

Just a bit of back story, I work in sales so if I can keep the payment relatively low to start and then pay more as I make more that’s what I would like to do. I don’t want to be stuck with high payments locking in with a 36 month contract if that makes sense. I also just bought a transitional car back in October of last year (I plan on trading in) so not sure if thats why (my credit isn’t the best) when I just tried getting prequalified with ford they only offered 27k but that is definitely not enough even with the 20k I plan on putting down.

Got a quote from USAA for a 60m loan at 6.14%. 36m was 5.98% and 72m was 6.28%. I was planning on keeping that quote open and comparing it to whatever the dealer offers. I really hope they don't play dumb games but if they do that's why I like to go in with a loan in hand.

I would go ask your credit union or local bank what they can do for you. I feel a loan from the dealer is set up to serve the dealers best interest.

My credit union offers a “flex loan” through AFG (auto financial group: probably a regional or national program offered by r credit unions)

With 20k down on an Everglades the 60mo term, monthly is $375. No penalty for paying off early, or more than the minimum. At the end of term there are options. After 5yrs at this rate it won’t be paid off. The flex loans are similar to leases but you own the car, can sell it or pay it off , or trade in for a brand new bronco Gen8!

Look up “credit union flex loans”

I compared the cu flex loan to the ford flex and the terms, rates, and exit plans were far more favorable with the cu.

To get that monthly number that must of included your trade in too right?

No, my trade in is worth $2k or less from the dealer. That is MSRP price, less $20k down, at 60months, and 7500 mi year (mileage is only a factor if you plan on trading it in)After 5 years I will still have a balance of $20K+ to payoff…so at that point I could sell it or pay it off the balance. I am planning to pay 2x or 3x my monthly when I can and send my tax returns to the balance.

Here is a flex loan calculator:

I would bet your local credit union offers this same program. This is not financial advice, just a way to get a low payment and no penalty for paying off early.

Doh!
Checked the tracker and I got bumped back to “order confirmed”
I assume they meant to update me from Built to Shipped.

Yeah, that happened to me too. Have seen similar comments on the 1/1/2024 production week thread. Some of the 1/1's said it reverts to built and/or shipped in a few days (mine has been this way since the weekend, despite having tear tag and rail car tracking info from Ford chat)

Nothing from ford about shipping my bronco but salesman called today and it’s here! (Had to be some benefit to living in the Midwest)
Good luck to all of you!
Nice, congrats. Please make sure the post a picture when you pick it up. By the way did yours go by train or by convoy?

Window Sticker shows a blend date of 1/10 and my BCM modules popped that day. Got my tear tag on 1/11, but still showing in production. I ordered dual tops, hopefully thats not leading to a long delay...
